I'm attempting to play online with my ds but it's informing me my security settings aren't supported by my router. I have a netgear and when I click on the smart wizard it opens and then shuts immediately. I really have no idea how to change the security settings with or without this "smart wizard" but I figure I need it but the damn thing won't stay open. And this page from nintendo:

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/routers/Netgear/WGR614V6/index.jsp

is indecipherable to me. I'm afraid I have no idea what it's talking about. Anyone able to give me a bit of help? Thanks so much.

Isn't the Oblivion world smaller than the Morrowind world? My friend has both, and I noticed that. Morrowing has tons of towns and a lot of land to go over. But Oblivion doesn't have not nearly as many towns. But, if you want to even TRY Oblivion, you will need an amazingly awesome super mega computer. It is really hard to get it on high, and it probably isn't even safe to run it on high even with the most current stuff. So, if you want Oblivion, make sure your computer can handle it... Seriously...funnybunny12
I don't know much about this computer since it's my boyfriends but as far as I can tell it's pretty damn good. I'll seek out the computer info and minimum requirements for the game and see how well they fit.

Hahaha, Gothic is a pale impersonation of The Elder Scrolls games.BloodMist
Like I said in my last post- I wouldn't put it past me to like terrible games.

[QUOTE="Corrupt_Tiki"]

From What I gather you like First person Perspective Games, with this i can only recommend Oblivion.

Planeforger

Oblivion could actually be a good suggestion, in this case. The TC said that he disliked Morrowind for being aimless and generally non-linear - Oblivion was basically an over-simplified and suprisingly linear version of Morrowind, so it could work.
Personally, I found the game to be an insult to the RPG genre, but to each his own.

I'm fortunate in the fact that I tend to be very blind when it comes to whether a game is "good" or not. I'm sure I've played plenty pieces of trash and thought they were fantastic. That gothic game is looking pretty sweet. I'll probably end up giving that one a shot- if I can find somewhere to buy it.

[QUOTE="Haylsinator"]How similar are Morrowind and Oblivion?BloodMist

Well since they're made by the same dev and take place on the same continent, quite similar. But, they both take place in different regions so they have their differerences.I'd go with Oblivion since it's just a nice improvement from Morrowind. That being said, playing Morrowind afterwards wouldn't be out of the question.

Well, I have morrowind and it's enjoyable, just too big. I feel like I'm forgetting something every time I play. I guess I'm just not creative enough for it :)

I've played Diablo 2 and enjoyed it. There was too much fighting, though. And I couldn't seem to really get into it.

How similar are Morrowind and Oblivion?

Wow, thanks for all of the help- fast too!

Lots of games to look into :) They actually all look pretty good so far, I think it's going to be diffcult picking.

I've been itching to play another good rpg. A few years back I bought arx fatalis and it became one of my favorite games. I decided to play it again but it doesn't work properly on this new computer.

So, I need a new game. The games that are listed as similar to arx fatalis, aren't really. I've played morrowind but I need something with a little more structure and less openened-ness. I tend to get overwhelmed in such a free for all environment. I want something that will take quite a few hours out of my life.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks :)

I can't help it- I'm a true paper mario fan. I loved the way they were. And I'm just completely surprised that they would change forms after the games were such big hits.

But, I'll probably give it a shot. It looks like it's kept some elements of the first two. I just feel like, regardless of the 2d/3d switchable elements, its not going to be as unique as the others were.

Ugh, that's perhaps the worst news I've ever heard.
