Yes, I've owned one for a long and have thoroughly enjoyed it, and continue to enjoy it. This doesn't change the fact that most people who are buying it are doing so because it's "in".
I've always wondered why the terms "sheep" and "cows" are used to describe Nintendo fanboys and Sony fanboys respectively, when these terms would apply much better the other way around...

The difference is, I bought one because I know it has a great library of games. Not because it's "in" or because my buddy told me it was "zOMGg tehH AWesEOme!!1!!1", like at least half the PS2 owners out there did.
WRONG!! PS2 buyers all over the world especially in Japan are not casual. N.A is very casual. We got PS2 for teh same reason :D.
Didn't work last gen. With only 3% of gamers playing online, Its not much of an advantage. What are you takling about? Sales? I never said anything about sales.
The version with superior online is the superior version. Simple as that.
