Dear console people who say they all look similar:

Just the very first sentence should help you understand.
If you watch this video and think that's what a gaming PC actually looks like, you identify yourself as somebody who has no experience with gaming PCs, and therefore, with all due respect, you literally don't know what you're talking about.
That's as clear as I can put it.
Consoles are awesome, no doubt. I love video games, and those things play video games. I'll admit that your exclusives and your price point make me jealous. Once there is a substantial amount of exclusives and price drops (and JRPGs!), I will buy the consoles myself. But let's not kid ourselves. From a graphical standpoint, those things are far behind, and you need a lot more than a low quality compressed video to understand that. You need to be actually familiar with all three sources.
@budah78: It's not the video card producers that are considering how powerful the consoles are. It's the developers. AAA developers almost always need to make sure their games run on the relatively underpowered consoles as well as PC, in order to maximize profits. There's no insult here.
It's "props" by the way. Not "crops". Props is short for "propers".
I've had a 760 for the last 3 years now, and it still runs everything on "high-ish" settings at 1080/60. For the most demanding games ill need to tone down to medium some of the biggest drains like shaders or shadows or any large amounts of AA, AF, or AO. I'm the type that flat-out demands rock solid 60fps at all times.
With this new card, I'm looking forward to changing the aforementioned settings to the "Ultra" levels, and finally getting caught up with the times in regards to higher resolutions and/or refresh rates.
