The new DLC armor packs are kind of cool. 5 sets all together. Each one has a cool effect, such as one smokes,or glows,or is on fire. All though the debilitation resistance is fair, their not great for elemental resistance. Each one is only good against one specific element. Some also require lots of coin to upgrade,or rare materials.WonderingWookie

Is there anything in the armor packs that beats the abyssinal armor set in stats ?

[QUOTE="laezyre"]

It's hard to aim most spells so I tend to nuke with bolide and seisium. I don't have much luck with him at level 51 now. What spells are best to damage him?

SethCypher

Its particularly hard for Mages to do pinpoint attacks on monsters with specific weak points. Also, I found melee tends to down weakpoint monsters relatively easily.

Pinpoint attacks are easy enough as a sorcerer we got plenty of auto target/homing spells in our bag, but its true that some monsters pretty much ignore magic damage ( looking at you metal golem )

You don't need wakestones to get your pawns back up on their feet, just walk up to them and press b ( on the 360 )

and they're revived.

wakestones are for you.

Yup Reynard retires from the life as a peddler when he learns about his father, the only reason he became a peddler in the first place was to learn about the fate of his father.

yup the guardian inclination does that to a pawn , I'll never hire a pawn with that inclination again as it is completely useless, even if you want a tank.

Sadly the game does change your pawns inclination every once in a while without telling you, so far I've learned that sprinting through monster filled dungeons when farming can change your pawns inclination to guardian. so check your pawns inclination often.

I myself got a warrior with pioneer and scather, I find that to be the best combo for a warrior.

once everfall is open you can reach the chamber of lament ( 1 of 15 dungeons in everfall ) here you'll find the Ur-dragon, keep playing you'll know when everfall opens (towards the end of the game), in ng+ you can find a portal on the southern beach in cassardis that'll take you straight to Ur dragon fight.

hope this helps :)

I don't find it flawed, there's a brilliant story arc that explains everything and a twisted ending that justifies the ng+ in a rather inventive and cool way.

The pawn system is way better than i expected and makes for addictive gameplay ( I want my pawn to look cool in the best gear possible as he is representing me )

It doesn't take you by the hand and lead you through the game, but bringing in pawns with specific quest knowledge is the way to go.

I can't wait for a sequel :P

As a sorcerer and having done 5 online Ur dragon kills, now lv 120 i use :

High maelstrom in the grace period, it wipes out all the hearts in 1 go, or on the rare occasion when the drake decides to do divebomb attacks instead of going to the tower, mealstrom will make it hit the ground hard, giving you extra time to charge up the next spell.

High Seism when the drake is occupied chasing a pawn, but be ready to get the dragons attention when cast. if placed right it will damage just about any spot on the drake, from head to tail incl. wings.

High Gicel is great for single target if your close or under the drake as it hits everything between you and spot you choose to target, as in standing between his hind legs and target his head it will damage his belly, shoulders, neck on its way to the head.

High Ingle can hit the tail when it decides to fly to the tower if you aim it manually.

other than that i use charged light attack when i need to fill the stamina bar.

having the wyrmking's ring on you really helps shorten the cast time, just make a copy at the black cat and hand the fake in to complete the quest.

that is how I do it, hope it helps.
