Any rapper that comes out looking more sensitive than the majority of the rap game gets praised by suburban kids for "keeping it real". Psssh. Look at kanye west when his debut came out. Nothing against kanye, I love all his ish (graduation and 808 isn't my cup of tea though) but people give him too much credit just because he wasn't a gangsta. I can already tell that drake is gonna spend the whole album COMPLAINING about being famous and having then bragging the next song. Ish is incredible.

word, why do people need to be convinced to listen to an artist? It takes like zero effort to listen to a song or cop an album. If you don't like it, oh well. because if someone's passionate about it, and they're a good source of information then you have more incentive to listen.

likewise, if I say 'you dude peep this folk band, you'll dig it. they sound like (band you like) with a mix of (band you like) and they're signed to (record label that consistenly puts out dope music) which is the same record label that put out (3 bands you likes albums). Also (continues for three paragraphs about their sound, and ends with 2 youtube links)'
I know there's a better chance you check out the second recommendation over the first one so I won't even ask.
