Alright so I'm very interested upgrading my current Geforce GTX 560ti to this 650ti: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130839

(I also want the copy of AC III that comes with it :))

My concern is that the 560ti uses PCIE 2.0 while the 650ti uses PCIE 3.0. My current motherboard only has a PCIE 2.0 slot. Would I be able to use the 650ti on a PCIE 2.0 slot? If so, would there be any performance issues or glitches?

The guy needs time to make the chart. He charted all the other major FPS games, I don't doubt he will chart BF3.covertgamer78
Are you talking about some person who makes an unofficial chart or would it be an official chart that is patched into the game? I'm sorry I just don't quite understand what you mean by "The guy".

I know you can see the range, ammo type, and magazine size for each weapon but is there any sort of chart or something of any kind that tells you what the specific damage, accuracy, range, and fire rate is of the weapons like in Bad Company 2?

Dang this is kind of sucky news. I mean obviously the main reason I (and I know a lot of other people as well) are getting the game is for the multiplayer. But occasionaly you get internet issues and its nice to know that I can atleast play some portion of the game (single player in this case) when my internet or the servers are down. However, this is DICE so I'm going to remain hopeful that they are smart enough to see this potential issue and will find some way of allowing us to play SP with out needing to be online. Keyword is "hope".......

So I know that we need Battlelog for the multiplayer aspect of the game. I am very curious if anyone knows though, whether we will also need Battlelog for single player as well? So if my internet connection is down or if the Battlelog servers are down does that mean I won't even be able to play single player mode?

What did you set your voltage to?C_Rule
Voltage is at stock settings which, I amnot really sure whatthe number is. I just know that I didnt mess with the voltage at all and EVGA Precision doesnt mess with it either.

So this is my first time overclocking a card and I just want to get some peoples opinions to make sure and get some reasurance that I did it correctly and everything is stable. I have OCed my evga gtx 560 ti core clock from 850 to 950 and the shader clock from 1701 to 1900. I then ran a 8 minute stress test using EVGA OC Scanner at full screen, 1920 x 1080. No artifacts were found and the temp only got as high as 80c and that was with the fan at auto settings. I now just finished playing an action packed level on Crysis 2 on max settings for an hourthen immediatley checked my temp which only got as high as 72 while playing with fan at auto settings. Game played smoothly with no bugs or weird issues popping up. So is it safe to assume then that this is a stable OC level to leave my gpu at?

Just a quick question. I want to start overclocking my GTX 560 Ti since I heard its very good for OCing. However I DO NOT want to mess with the voltage at all. I'm just looking tosafely get another5-10 FPS out of my card. I downloaded the EVGA Precision tool. Before I start increasing the core clock and shader clock I just want to knowif EVGA Precision will mess with my GPU'svoltage at all or will my card and computer simply reset back to its default settings if I raise the levels to high?

[QUOTE="whitey_rolls"][QUOTE="Hercules321"]

So I've decided to buy this power supply:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005

Before I go ahead and make the purchase, I have just one final question that I hope can be answered by someone. Is this psu compatible with my current Motherboard? I have a ASRock G31M-S mothorboard and I just want to double check that this psu will work with it. I can't seem to find a direct yes or no answer anywhere on the internet.

It is compatible with your current motherboard Good choice of PSU, just be aware you won't be able to SLI/Crossfire with it ... although your current board doesn't support this feature so you are probably fine.

Nice! Thank you for answering my question. Yeah my mobo and cpu (I have a Core 2 quad 8300 2.5 ghz) are definately starting to become outdated. I figure I'll hopefully be able to make them last atleast another year before buying a new cpu and mobo. Its kind of funny how you get attached to your old hardware that has lasted you such a long time :)
