recently, I have heard reasonably bad criticism about the Quake Wars Demo. so, ignoring them, I tried it out. it was very refreshing, especially compared to when you've only been playing 2142 for several weeks. it may have been that I was playing as Strogg, but it felt different then BF, which seems to contradicts what people were saying about it. also, the game felt faster paced then BF (2142, at least). in short, if you like big maps and a team deathmatch feel, I'd encourage you to buy it. or at least try out the Demo.

with some mods (OOO, Oblivion Cats, Clocks, and Cyrodiil Terrain Map). I hope it's enjoyable.

and it is the longest demo I've ever played. I must have gotten 7 hours out of those two levels.
