I haven't the slightest idea how to build a computer, nor does anybody I know. I can't imagine build my own.

I was searching on Newegg for computers under $850, and I came across the list of computers. I found many PCs under 850, but I really have no idea which of them are good for playing games. If you need specifics on "games" I mean Bioshock and such. So my question is, on the list of computers at Newegg ( http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=10&name=Desktop-PCs , page one) are thereany under$850that could run newer games such as Bioshock?

Do you have anything from a past build that you can carry-over to this one?
Monitor, case, HD, optical drives?LordEC911

I supposed I could carry over the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and possible my 1022 RAM, but that's about it.

And wooz101, may I see a link?

Well, long story short, I might be able to get a new computer. Only problems are I have limted money and no idea what to get. I need somethingwith teeth, somethingthat can run bioshock, Guild wars, and so on. However, I need to keep the price down. at most, something around $850.

So i'd like to know about any good computers with a pretty low price tag. If my efforts are pointless, and there is no good computer for that price, please inform me aswell.

I'm not a computer expert, so I don't really know what a "make" is, and I thought Dimension2400 series, intel was the motherboard? Not sure if this will have the information you are looking for, but this is what I have: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/dell-dimension-2400-pentium/4505-3118_7-30824846.html

How do I find out my graphical Interface? Andyes, I believe it was custom made, but only in the sense that I called up Dell and said I want this and I want that. It's a (Dell)Dimension 2400 Series, Intel Celeron Processor at 2.4GHz. Made 3 years ago, with Windows XP professional.

I came across some extra money recently, so I decided to upgrade my old, old, terrible graphics card. However, I remembered once being told I "payed money for a piece of crap that can't be updated." So I am a bit Cautious. I am wondering if there is anyway I can find out if this is true, or anybody who knows how to find out. As a side note, I'm aiming for a graphics card that will run Bioshock well. So if you can recommend a graphics card aswell, I would appeciate it.
