Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, and then price drops? The third most important thing is that you can buy Oblivion for $30? Lol! It is also NOT braggable that PS2 sold only .3 million less systems than PS3 this month. That shows that something is wrong, not right.

Well, okay, BUT, I am going to need some pictures first. I need to make sure you didn't put any Cloud or Black Guy with Gun For an Arm stickers on it, for one. I will also need to have confirmation that you didn't break it by accidentally sticking a copy of LAIR into it.
I'll give $15.00 cash money plus I'll throw in a with sympathy card, and a copy of the last great Sony Exclusive, Crash Bandicoot 3!
I'm holding out on the theory that if Square ever releases a remake of that one game that features the little kid with the spikey blonde hair, and the black guy with the gun for an arm, that it will be exclusive on PS3 and I will be totaly rich!
Another big part of your (and countless other people's) problem with Gamestop is that "trade in value/used merchandise price" issue. I can't even begin to tell you how tired that argument has become.
Gamestop, along with every other company in the world, has the right to make money. Yes, they make a big profit off of used/pre-owned merchandise, but in my time with the company, not a single customer was ever forced to take the trade-in value that was offered to them. My store's door let customers in AND out of the building.
If you've really got an issue with the value/price of used merchandise, I strongly suggest you try trading your car in towards the purchase of a new vehicle at a large dealership. I use this example because after I resigned from my position as Store Manager with Gamestop, I started selling cars for a large Ford dealership in the midwest, and one thing I've come to realize from both jobs is that everyone thinks their crap is worth *this much*, and everyone thinks the store/dealership's crap is worth *this little*.
I guess my point is this: if you don't like Gamestop, don't shop there. It's that freaking simple.septemberluc
I buy and sell used merchandise for a living too. Cars and video games are completely different. Cars run for a finite amount of time. A car with 40k miles may only run for another 50k miles. Sure, if you buy a car and take it to the dealership in one week you are going to get screwed. There is no telling what you did to that car. And the car will be given a used price tag. As for a video game I can take one look at a disc and know if it was was ever played, or if it has scratches. But when Gamestop prices the used game it gets priced $5.00 lower than new.
Nope, no one is forced to sell their games to Gamestop. Agreed.
