Not like it's a big deal, but I have saw it at Wal Greens before because I used to buy Xbox Magazine there. Seems like I have saw it other places as well but I can't remember where so I can't confirm.

I've known that for years. I'm telling other people so they know. I never got ripped off, and I didn't really care when they merged. I would just like people to know all of this this because they don't tell you. And Game Informer is sold at many stores besides Gamestop.

Hey all, I made a blogsite of video game related topics, reviews, and stuff like that. I used to have another site but the admin didn't filter spam so I left and wrote some stuff up really quick. I made a post dedicated to nerdy Gamestop workers. So if you have any pictures, or can get some send em to me. My email for the site is highscore79@hotmail.com.

http://planetvideogame.blogspot.com/ is the link to the site if you want to check them out.

I am not amazing knowledgable on this but HDMI is basically an HDvideo and audio cable all in one. In other words you wont need to use red/green/blue/ and audio red/white with is, just the hdmi cable. Also, people say the HDMI has a slightly better picture. My 360 doesn't have the hdmi output, but other stuff I have does, and really, I never noticed a difference. I just use it for the convenience.

I see no facts here at all besides, there is crime, which we know, and there is al queda in the USA, which we know. I live about 25 minutes south of Pittsburgh in a rural area. My highschool was quite big and I have saw crime my entire life. I don't live in fear over it, and I pay taxes because I like having police, and armed forces. Please list facts to back the rest of these claims up.

I have to ask... If you don't believe small business becomes big business, how to you believe Wal Mart was started? Do you think that some corrupt goverment official went to Sam Walton and gave him a big pile of money and said, "take this and screw the whole world with it"?

Well, I would love to see your answer to that but I am leaving to go to a 4th of July party. I thought I would throw that in since i know you can appriciate the patriotism of it. When I come back I would love to see some serious facts of how small business can not become big business, and serious facts of how the goverment is going to harm me or anyone I know if they are doing nothing illegal. Or any REAL proof that the goverment doesn't want you to succeed in life. Not just blind, ridiclous claims that are only true in your head. Thanks.

ps Please don't come back with the link to coasttocoastam.com

I think you are paranoid. Like I said, if you think you have it bad then move to Africa. I'm not fond of everything my goverment does, but what I do like is going outside and not walking into a civil war. In one year I increased my inventory by 1000%. I'm fine with what I have. I think you are so paranoid of living that you never will have what other people have, and you will blame the goverment for not delivering everything you want to your doorstep, because hey, you pay taxes. Life doesn't work like that here, or anywhere else buddy, so wake the **** up.

Who cares what people say, play the games you like. That's all that matters cuz its all about fun and wasting time. I still play my old games all the time like PGR 2, Street Fighter. I think you need to relax, gaming should be fun. Maybe you should take a break.

.

InjuredNoodle

Nah man, I am not typing angry. No break needed. I played Ninja Turtles for NES last night. It's still hard as hell if anyone wondered.

yea actually i was alive with the 2600 and i had it also, played it forever. And what i'm saying is it seems you like the fun platform, family-friendly games that we don't get much of anymore, i can be wrong, but they're making games for the older audience and not giving to much for the younger. Older people will think it's just complete crap if its a little fun game like the old ones were.

The problem i have with this is you guys are complaining about stuff but it's like open your eyes, this is how the world works. Everyones trying to get you to buy something you don't need, everyones overcharging, it's all about money these days. They're vampires sucking us dry of money, really not much has changed in the gaming industry any different than how the world has. Do you pay exxon $5 a gallon? That's the way the world is.

Your 29 i'm sure you know this, time's change and they're no longer the same. Don't blame the gaming industry for changing with the times, because if it didn't it probably would be hard to survive and we wouldn't be playing that good of games. Atleast with games there's always different game companies, but buying oil we always have to go to the right place.

The other problem i have with what you said is the gaming magazines, i already brought light to this and i guess no one is reading because they all keep agreeing with you when your not completely right. GamePro-EGM-Nintendo Power, they've always been around.

Don't blame the video game industry for changing with the times, it's the world, the US, the new world order, it's why you no longer own your store. Cuz in this world, small businesses can't survive only big businesses, gamestop didn't do this to you, the USA did this to you, the new world order. It's all about the moneyyyy, not just to video gamers.

Sometimes i am ashamed to be associated with--americans and a retard president. The country of crooks.

JuanaSmoke

Listen man I'm not flaming you. The reason people are agreeing with me is because I am right about what I am saying, but I don't think you understand what I am saying. I am completely aware that times are different, and that media dictates FAR too much of what we all buy. I wear Ralph Lauren and Polo jeans and shirts. I'm buying a cool car. I have a Dish Network package that I don't need... I am aware of all of that stuff, though I don't think gas prices relate to this because we are getting screwed on an actual NEED there. But from a few different sources too... But that is a differnt arguement, as is with all of the other stuff you and I just mentioned.

The reason I am posting there here is because it's a gaming website, and the problem encompasses gaming. However, gaming is on absolute fire right now. No one can deny that. And the game companies, the media, and the retail stores are all exploiting it more... FAR more, than any other form of entertainment.

I'll tell you a story that you may already know if you read the same Nintendo Power or GamePro I did back in the early 90's. There was about a 3 page article about this little boy who lost his arms. I can't remember if he never had arms, or if he was in a car wreck, or whatever. But the write up was entirely about how he learned to play different games with his feet. Something I am sure he can't really do now with 5 times more buttons. Maybe he straps a Wii remote to his leg? Anyhow, this isn't a sob story from me, but the reason this stands out is because magazines had MUCH more of a focus on actual gaming. You could actually learn a few things from the books back then too. It wasn't "OMG we can't wait to get our hands on NHL 09, and YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER! As far as my most hated book, Game Informer, I would be fine with that book if they called it Gamestop Magazine, or gave readers the fact that it is owned by Gamestop. Instead, they put it in about a half inch print on page 3 that no one will ever look at. It is just a 100 page sales flier, with nothing but Gamestop advertising.

You are wrong about small business not being able to survive. Small business becomes big business if you are education, and make the best possible decisions. Nothing should come easy. The USA did nothing to me. I am sure I wouldn't be owning my own video game store in North Korea or Guam, so I will have none of that. I still have a free mind and spirit, and the entire notion of this post is to wake a few people up to the fact which it seems to have done. I do however believe in the new world order and that is why I have a rack of AR-15s downstairs.

Like I said man, I agree with you on 90% of this, but this is a video game site, and this post was just about video games specifically.

yep those**** punk *** kids right!!!! Hey your the one who listens to kids!!

i'll say it again, that's the internet your complaining about, not game magazines!!!

Oh and you've played mostly every game that has came out in the last 7 years, is that a joke?

maybe your ashamed that your doing the same thing 13 year olds are doing?

Really you just sound like an old man hating on the younger kids, wowww and because your 29 doesn't mean you know any more than anybody else. You've been playing games for longer than a lot of people, do you think your one of the only true gamers left? i think that is what you think and thats a joke. Your living in the past, let me guess you collect comic books and star wars memorobilia too?

Times change man, back then the gamers were mostly kids and young teens. As time went on they started to appeal to more older people. You can say the older people is what ruined video games, if games were more for kids they'd be putting out the games that you want to play. So what are you even talking about? It's funny how many people agree...

JuanaSmoke

I don't know how to respond to this to make you look any more stupid than you already do. If you read my posts you would see that I used to work at EB years ago, and then I owned my own video game store. So, no, it's not a joke. I have played almost every game for the last seven years. And before than I played Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, which, comes with a mini encyclopedia which may help you with your reading skills. I am probably not more ashamed than the 29 year olds that were in the arcades with me when I was 13. And yes, being 29 does make me know more than other people because I was alive when 2600 was out, which apparently you were not, which makes me know more than you.

So... games are mainly made for people my age, but people my age don't want to play them because we want to play games made for kids? What are YOU even talking about? I think you need to go to bed to get up for summer school.
