Yeah back in the day I never owned a PS1. I just really didn't like it. I wasn't huge on the N64, especially with the funky controller. I'm not sure how old you are, but going from Atari all the way through to PS1 then having a load time, it just wasn't fun to me. I did have a Sega CD, but it didn't seem to load nearly as much as PS1, though it's been a long time. I just remember my friends playing NFL Gameday for PS1 and it having to load every play... Ugh.

No, I mean Lunar for Sega Saturn, which can be found in your list of best Sega Saturn Games. I didn't say I was the all knowing Sega Saturn master. I would never waste my time researching an inferior system, or any system for that long. It's quite clear that you love the Saturn by the fact you named half of it's game library as being good. You are most likely the biggest Sega Saturn fan ever, which is proven by the words "best games" being used to describe Baku Baku Animal.

Coming from a normal person, that owns a video game store, goes to work, and goes outside from time to time, buy a Sega Saturn only if it's at a good price, and you can get some games that you want to play. And don't expect too much from it in the way of fun, unless load times are your thing.

Panzer_Zwei

The expensive Lunar is the Mega-CD one. I doubt anybody knows or cares about Lunar for the Saturn outside of Japan, where it goes for less than $20. There's even a MPEG version compatible with the VCD adapter released in Japan that has high-quality FMVs. But again nobody knows it or cares for it outside of Japan. The Mega-CD Lunar is the renown one.

So no Lunar is not one of the sought after games for the Saturn.

This is not even a quarter of it's library actually. But funny you said it had 100 games and only 5 were good, when GS has 580+ Saturn games on their database and they're still missing quite a lot of games.

I just posted more than 100 great games for the Saturn, which more than proves your 5 good games theory null.

And Baku Baku is a great puzzle game, and most people that have played it tend to agree, as you can tell for many of the reviews around the net.

I mean, it's clear that you have little to no knowledge of the system and it's library itself. It doesn't matter that your own a videogame store or not.

Dude, the poster asked for opinions and I gave him mine. If you think Saturn had 580 games released outside of Japan that's fine with me. Like I said, I have all the knowledge of the system that I need to know. You win the Sega Saturn topic, he should definately go buy one to play all of those great AAA titles you named. Sega rules, I can't wait until they release their new system.

Hey I wanted to point one other thing to you that may help. The Saturn only sold for 3 years. Here in the US anyways. That in itself shows that consumers were not liking the games. Especially since Nintnedo didn't have a system out that even came close to the hardware specs at the time of release. And for the last six months there weren't many games released for Saturn. Plus it was killed by the PS1, which wasn't a great system either. I'm not sure if Dreamcasts are available to you in Sweden, but imo there are a lot better games for it, that are also relatively more available. I really don't hate the Saturn, just trying to give solid advice on your topic.

Haha I actually body build so I'm definately not into Wii Fit. I have Mario Kart for 3 other Nintendo systems so I'm not really into that either...

Battalion Wars and No More Heroes might be worth checking out though. I might go pick up Battalion Wars today actually.

Kind of agreed on the GC. The system only has about 10 good games, but they are REALLY good. Resident evil 1, 0, 4, Rogue Squadron, Metroid, and I even like Windwaker a lot. The controller does suck in comparison to about every other controller ever made except maybe original Xbox and N64, but at least the good games were custimized to the controller. Just don't try playing ports.

Yeah I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest Sony fan. I pretty much hated ps1, and ps3 is pretty lame. I don't really consider PS2 retro yet, but I guess it is. I waited in line back in the day to get one, and I got SSX and Madden with it. Hours and hours of fun. I played tons and tons of games for it. Pretty hard to disagree with PS2 being an awesome system.

I want to say, this isn't trolling, and that's why I directed this towards the owners of at least 2 systems. I have all 3, and I barely play the wii or ps3 at all. I don't regreat buying my Wii but I'm not sure what I can get into for it. Right now I have Mario Galaxy, Zelda TP, Metroid Prime 3, Wii Sports, Wii Play, and AMF Bowling. I have to say from what I have palyed of Zelda it's pretty good, though I still prefer Link to the Past and Ocarina. I haven't played Metroid yet. Everytime I play Mario I can't put it down, but I usually can't bring myself to play it over Vegas, or CoD 4 on 360.

I have no Wii Games that I can play online, maybe that might help? Any thoughts on games that are worth playing online with a decent community? I like my Wii but it sucks that I am only using it for the weather channel a few times a week.

btw, Resident Evil 4 is an awesome game, but I own it for cube already if anyone was going to recommend that one, and I have approximatly 500 retro games, so the wii store doesn't do much for me, except maybe Kirby, I don't have any of those originals.

I'll go with Vegas 2 if you are planning to play online. The single player is hardly worth 60 bucks. But it you have a lot of friends that come over to play, then I might go with Mario Kart. If you get Vegas look me up though. billyd53. Good luck with whatever you get.

I would go with Chrono Cross. It still stands up well in about every way, and is pretty well known as one of the pioneers of turn based RPGs. I would add Parasite Eve to your collection if you don't already own it. That was probably my fav on ps1. But not the sequel unless you are desperate. It's pretty lame.
