definately not GOTY buuut, I did download the demo last night and extremely enjoyed it so I think I will be spending 60 dollars on this game......idk at first it felt stiff up until I put the speed of the XY axis to be 90percent which really transformed the game into an enjoyable experience....but definately not GOTY...no way
I have NBA 2k6 and 2k7 but have not gone out to get 2k8 yet. I was wondering is it worth getting kinda looks like it to me but my question is did they get rid of that nasty glitch where the players uniforms would get all distorted like they where playing with a ripped up uniform. You will know what I am talking about if you played 2k6 or 2k7 a bit. Has this problem been resolved and is the lock down D alot better because it used to be too easy to blow past someone and jam on them with Kobe and Lebron.Sherjas24
i've read an artical before the release of 2k8 and it stated that the "mini skirt glitch" would be patched in this game, unfortunately I had it done to me last night, so the skirt still lives.
oh man don't remind me, took me 3 days of 5 hour play time each day. i compare it to my bungie jumping experience, i'm soooooooo glad i did it and will never EVER do it again
Unless you are a die hard Live fan, I truely feel you'll get the better feel in 2k8. The only thing Live has over 2k8 is in depht character visuals, but aside that, gameplay works a lot better on 2k8.
