I didn't hear many people talking about its graphics but damn did I think they were good. Excellen game too.

Gears 2 is a lot more fun. I enjoyed the campaign mode a lot more...especiall the part where you're chainsawing the giant worm thing's arteries.

And the original Xbox was a tank...I put over thousands of hours playing online games and never once had a problem. The only thing wrong with it is the disc tray is loose, kinda have to give it a love tap sometimes.

How much better is the HD 5770 than the 9800 GT? My card runs fine but it's starting to show it's age. I still only play at 1440x900 but I'm getting a new monitor soon, so how big of an upgrade would hte 5770 be?

And the HP firebird? REALLY? You mean the slim as hell case which basically means no future upgrades? Uh, no thanks. You can find quality parts on Newegg and build a great machine that will stomp the Firebird. All parts will be quality, and won't be the junk Dell/HP/Gateway use to cut costs so they can sell it for 400% markup.

B) Run so poorly there's no point in playing.

Some older games would be fine, but anything from the past couple years would be a big NO.
