It's a rehash, not worth the asking price at all. Played no differently then the first L4D, other than the additions of melee weapons (which who cares when you have fing shotgun).

Doesn't Nintendo offer to fix it for free if your system gets bricked?

Admittedly, the maps are the major differentiator between the two. I really liked the re-implementation of PEC from Lockdown....not CoD4. I liked that you can get xp from whatever mode you're playing in and depending on how you play, you gain xp in different categories, unlocking different sets of weapons and armor. I thought that was pretty neat. What really bugged me with the first Vegas was that the graphics were such that it looked like my screen was always covered in vaseline. Vegas 2 was a noticeably crisper. So to answer the TC's question... yes, there is still a sizeable community playing Vegas 2. There shouldn't be a problem finding sessions to play in.VoodooHak

Yeah, the PEC mode was nice to have again, especially for a game that is actually fun. Only problem was there were some areas in the single player where you could perform XP glitches, but I think most of them (if not all) have been patched. And I'm still kinda mad about them not including retrieval mode from Vegas 1. For whatever reason it was removed :(

And yeah, Vegas 1 looks pretty bad compared to Vegas 2. #2 looks much sharper overall, and loading times are much, MUCH faster. Vegas 2 has a bigger community, and peole are actually respectful and fun to game with.

It's just a shame Ubi abandoned this game...I know I would have paid for more maps/gametypes. Only map pack we got was a old map and two dark versions of pre-existing maps.

Modding your 360 to play burned games is rather easy, just gotta follow a step by step instruction. All you gotta do is google search.

It's sad too, I know 3 or 4 friends on my friends list alone who have pirated the game. I filed complaints against them because it's plain wrong. Especially since they're playing online and getting away with it.

Hopefully Microsoft can detect the flashed firmware on the DVD drives. I'd lol so hard if they got banned.

Nope, it's official. I saw it on the TV

The trailers for this game have been the best I've seen for an FPS

Hot damn

Wow, I have been owned. At least it's a good rap song. Eminem is awesome IMO.

Only thing the first Vegas has over Vegas 2 (other than the much better campaign) is multiplayer maps. There's so many of them, and a lot of them are great. Other than that, hit detection + graphics + lag are all improved in Vegas 2. Online community is still rather large, I still play once in awhile, I think I'm a Elite 18 or something.

Can't do that.

Rally crappy onboard + mediocre video card would equal a bad experience anyways :P

I have three or four friends who are running the priated game, I've already filed complaints against them. Tons of people are playing the pirated version right now, it's most of the people on.

Overall though, a great game for all systems (cept Wii, poor Wii...). I'll probably check out the PC version someday.
