This game will look awful on the 360, as well as having worse controls and online options. And who wants to pay for new content?

If anyone has played both L4D on the PC and the 360, the PC version is MUCH, MUCH better. The graphics are so much better it's not even fair, the controls are better (no explanation needed), and just in general is a better game.

Anything with Uncharted 2 in the sentence, Sony fanboys need to settle down.

Ugh, I hate networking, by far the most annoying thing about computers. What works for some people, won't work for others (due to hardware and software differences). I like to compare it to Black Magic, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

What worked for me is putting both computers under the home network and then just telling each computer to share one of its folders over the network. Works fine for me. I believe you just:

Right Click -> Properties > Enable Sharing (or similar wording).

If the multiplayer is anything like I played in the mp beta, the game feels kind of...awkward. Doesn't take too much skill, PS3 controller doesn't help with the whole competitive play ordeal, and it just doesn't feel "right." It ain't bad, but there's a lot better online game out there.

^Nearly $200 for a motherboard? That's pretty darn expensive, I was looking to spending around $700 on upgrades. I already have a video card and a HDD, and could reuse my old CD/DVD trays. I was thinking a good motherboard would cost me around $100, any suggestions? And if I have to upgrade to DDR3 RAM, I suppose I will...

I've probably made a couple threads regarding this, but I'm still unsure...

Processor - I currently have a Core 2 Duo 6320, and I'm eyeing the Phenom II 965. How big of an upgrade will this be?

Motherboard - some recommendations would be nice (I want to reuse my DD2 RAM if possible).

PSU. Something reliable for $70, is this possible? It needs to run a 9800 GT, and have room for a new video card for the future. I'm thinking of getting a 5850.

Case – Nothing fancy, no stupid lights or anything of the sort. Just need a decent sized case with good cooling.

Help me out? I'm pretty bad at picking this stuff out.

Both of them are amazing games, MP1 had slightly better gameplay due to a better bullet time system. Honestly, I don't see how you can't play both because of how gripping the story is, it's really some of the best written narrative I've ever played in video games.

You can find them used for cheap at Gamestop. Super cheap, like $2 cheap. If you have a capable PC you can buy them both together for $15 off STEAM.
