Agreed, alot of these people whining sound like socialists (and I hate using that term given how some think the President is a socialist). For those arguing about the fairness of rich people and the rest of us...that is a lost cause. NOTHING at all about life is fair. With very few exceptions, we are all products of our environment to some extent. The richest of us and the poorest of us. My granddad was a sharecropper in the jim crow south. My dad was in the U.S. military. I'm an aspiring middle manager in corporate america. That's indentured servant-working class-middle class.
My granddad didn't finish high school. My dad did finish high school. I'm a college graduate. My forefathers worked hard and instilled values they thought were important for me to learn. Same goes for ALL people rich and poor. If you see your dad working an extra shift at work to pay for your tuition, you will value education.
If you see your dad pawning your mom's jewelry to get another dimesack, you'll value that. If you see your dad attending a country club gathering after meeting his quarterly goals, you'll value that. In my mind, it's all about generational blessings and curses...and it absolutely starts with your environment.
It's not fair and it never will be, but so far it's the best system the world has produced economically.
