it is very common for the average w.o.w player to have 300 days of w.o.w played. Thats 7,200 hours of gameplay. And thats just the average player. I know of people that are around 500 days played. No doubt in my mind its w.o.w. The sims cant even compete. I quit w.o.w a little less than 2 years ago and i probably had about 150 days played between my warrior and rogue.
Sigh I loved that game.... but you know its sucking up your social life when you leave your friends party 2 hours early so that you can make it in time to join a 40 man raid so you can get a dagger in a video game. And chances were that even if you killed the boss he wouldnt even drop the item that you want.
A few years back, I got banned from a DoD server for "spawn camping". They were playing overlord. I had just joined a minute earlier and had gotten killed a couple of times by someone who was spawn camping the boats. BobZany
i dont upgrade my PC just for one game. i do update it when games become unplayable by my own standards. however the upgrades i make then affect every game i buy for my PC.
i didnt get this rig (see sig) just for crysis (hell at the time i wasnt that interested in it). i got it for games like supreme commander, hellgate london and the witcher. my previous rig, a laptop with a mobility radeon 9600 64MB in it, just wouldnt be up to the job (its nearly 4 years old so owes me nothing). i intend to get a truck load of games for this PC over the years. its not just a crysis box.
