[QUOTE="blazinindyanboy"]if u think this is tough, then do experiments with ps3, u'll be even more shocked.codezer0Yea, sneeze on it and it gets "Disc read error." better than the 360, you could keep it in an isolated vacuum and never touch it, odds are it'll get the RROD. Don't get me wrong, I love my 360, but every time I touch the power button I pray to Master Chief that those lights are green and not red....

[QUOTE="wallsy9"][QUOTE="KungfuKitten"]They should have been more confident and thrown out GC support. It's completely unnecesary.
Btw i win every single time (save for the first few times ever) in online races and i race with the (golden) wheel.

May seem like a stupid question, but what is the golden wheel?
I believe it happens when You use the wii wheel exclusively and play for some time, Your white wheel icon changes to mmmm gold. I like it ^ ^ (it's the icon next to Your name to indicate Your control method)
I've never played MKWii so I just figured it was everyone's favorite party snack, the cheetoh, leaving its mark...
^ Metroid Prime 3, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, Resident Evil 4, No More Heroes are all games that are out now that you might like. Coming up: Sadness (if/when it ever comes out), Disaster: Day of Crisis, Animal Crossing Wii (you said you liked AC?), and possibly looking out for a few third-party games (such as Factor 5's current unknown project, etc)
Also games to try (possibly rent first in your case): Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Okami, Mario Kart Wii, Zack and Wiki, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and Battalion Wars II
Phantom5800
I'll probably get, or at least rent MP3, No More Heroes and MoH:H2, definitely get RE4 (I already have it for PS2 but it's awesome and I heard that it with the Wii controls was 10x better. Is it Wii Zapper Compatible, and if so, is it better to use it?) Definitely get AC. What's Disaster? I don't think I've ever heard of it.
Factor 5 sounds familiar, what have they made?
And I'll probably just rent SMG, Z:TP, Okami, MKW, FE:RD and BWII. I have Gamefly so renting games is very convenient :D
P.S. Thanks for the quick response and quite a few recommendations
What surprises me the most is the fact that any of you are surprised at all. This is Nintendo its obvious why its so durable. Little kids break stuff.lensonFINALLY someone gets it. Who is this console made for? 5-year old hyper japanese kids, of course! They're gonna make it durable. Of course, if my 360 fell from 4 feet i'd be lucky if it started up, actually played the game, and the game wasn't scratched all to hell. No, we just get a console that quits whenever it feels like (I'm on my 4th or 5th 360, I lost count) In a semi-related story, I was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Not paying attention to my cat, who was messing with cords. My power supply falls (mind you this power supply is about the same size and weight as your Wii) and rocks the front of my 360 into the air for a split second. my screen goes black, I freak out, yell at my cat, then since i was pretty much done anyway turn it off. Get home the next day, turn it on, and I can't get past the developer screen. Pull out my disc, it has a huge scratch ALL the way around the outside of the disc, I try cleaning it and repairing it, only get a few seconds farther. So you guys are lucky.
Ok, I had an N64. I had a game, some people may have heard of it, called Super Smash Bros. Well I loved this game but then grew out of that console, getting the original XBox (Man, wasn't Halo great?) But most of my friends got Gamecubes. So I would stay at their houses and we would play the sequel to this game, Super Smash Bros. Melee. I thought it wasn't as good (I couldn't get used to the GC controller) so I quickly forgot about it. Then Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out, and I play it at Gamestop. Damn is it awesome. And guess what? My birthday is coming up in about a month. So I ask for a Wii and Brawl, only obstacle is if they could find it. Great. But do I really want another console based on one game? So I want to know what other games would interest me. I like some of these Nintendo games (SSBB, AC, Wii Sports) but for the most part find them cartoony and boring. I have a 360 which I play all the time, and love Mature Games (Bioshock, COD4, Halo) I think you see a pattern. I like to shoot and blow the $#!+ out of things, so I don't know what games I would like.
In a nutshell: I'm a 360 fanboy who likes mature games, but some of the odd or E Nintendo games, what games on Wii would I like? (If you wanted to say MP3C, then if it's anything like Hunters for the DS I won't like it. Too much backtracking and collecting and paying attention)
