I had just called in a request for a box so that i may turn in my RROD 360 for repairs.
While i had recieved my box, i was removing all the cords and the hard drive so that i may package it and send it on its way. While packing the console i had noticed that the "warrenty sticker" had been removed as i had taken off the faceplate. I had asked my little sister if she had removed it as i am away from college and had let her play while i would be gone. She had told me she had removed the sticker in curiousity, but was unaware that it had voided the warranty.
I did not attempt to open the console at all, nor did i attempt to fix it myself. I am now hesitant to send it in fearing that it will be sent right back with a letter stating it has not been repaired because the warrenty has become voided.
Shall i send in the console anyways with a letter showing my problem, hoping that i may get it back repaired, or just keep it?
What shall i do now as i just would like my system to be repaired but fearing it would be considered "voided?"
Has anyone send theirs in without the sticker but got it back fixed?
