ID did not making Quake4 or Quake Wars... he is 100% correct. As Carmack said.. They will NOT BE letting others make games with there names anymore BECAUSE THE QUALITY OF THEM WENT WAY DOWN WHEN THEY LET OTHERS MAKE THEM.
Sooooo I guess nobody will be making a Doom game anymore...including id software.
So what if they were involved? They did not develop the game. Stop trying to make id sound worse than they are. They've developed 2 games in the last decade, and they both were great.

It's not ids job to "OK" the game if they think it's good enough. They liscenced the franchises out for other developers to work on. Simple as that.
So basically what you're saying is that id software wouldn't care how terrible their games are as long as someone made them. Now all of a sudden they care and now they're making them themselves?

They've made one game since RTCW, which was Doom 3, and it was a great game. It wasn't spectacular like everyone was hoping, but it was still great. everyone is drooling because they have an amazing track record of quality games. id Tech 5 is sweet, and Rage looks pretty good so far, but I haven't seen enough to make much of an opinion.

Really the only good game they've released in the last decade was RTCW. They have released more mediocrity than quality.

I think you need to check your facts on the games ID made, and those they own the IP.
They were heavily involved. That's like saying Valve didn't make any of the Left 4 Dead games.
Just reminds me of Borderlands. I would have preferred Doom 4. Not to mention id software hasn't made a hit game since Return to Castle Wolfenstein. So why exactly is everyone drooling over them(id software)?

I am intrigued by the premise of the game. I've never played any Fable title before, but I may make this one my first. I never said I 'liked' it - nor did I 'dislike' it when it was a 360 exclusive. As I said prior, I don't own a 360, so me not playing Fable 2 sort of goes without saying. Can one not be interested in a game without having played a prior title in the series?
