That was only 1 song. Okay, fine. You guys don't like soft songs? As I said, this was their weakest song off their album. I'll give you their heaviest song off their new album once I get a hold of it. And nightmare is a good song but it's not their heaviest song either. As I said before and I'll say it again, the 2 songs they released are the weakest off their new album. I know someone who's listened to the whole album. And there's a review of the album and they say it's really good. It's from a site called MetalHammer, I think. I'm pretty sure it was MetaHammer. You guys are so picky on your music tastes and never give anything a chance. You just simply hate on it. What's the opposite word of a fanboy? Their new songs do NOT sound "pop". And I'm guessing very few of you read my whole post anyways. Or even listened to the song I posted. Why hate on avenged when you can hate on Britney Spears or Miley Cyrus or something? And Avenged has a lot of respect from other bands like Dream Theater and Metallica just to name a few. They even toured with them before.

Now before u start giving em crap, just remember what they went through. They lost a friend, a brother. Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, the drummer of the band. And now they got Mike Portnoy to fill in on the drums. If you don't know who Mike Portnoy is, he's the drummer for the band "Dream Theater". I honestly think this album will redefine the metal genre. Even though they lost a great friend, they will still continue to make amazing music. But their new album sounds a lot different. It's more darker, and grim....and a whole lot heavier. I still haven't listened to the whole album yet..of course, cause it hasn't even been released. But I've listened to the 2 songs that they have released and it sounds amazing. But I heard that they were the "weaker" songs off the album. I can't wait til I hear the whole album. I feel so bad for the band. They seem really depressed...well they were. They've taken a long break off and they're finally going on tour this august. They said it's going to be hard for them to go back on tour and play shows. They said it's going to be very emotional. Which is why they're taking such a long break. But anyways...this song I'm about to post was just released 2 days ago. And to me, it sounds A LOT LIKE METALLICA. Here, check it out for yourself.
