No Games?

I haven't been able to play any games. After I got robbed, they took both of my 360's that I had, and about 30 games. So no games until I buy my house...

Superbowl 42:

I just couldn't believe it! For all the teams that New England beat, they were all rooting for New York. Best Superbowl I've seen in all my years! 1972 Perfectionville, population...1! All my respects to Eli, and the defensive team! Great game.

AC: Flags

All I'm missing is the Kingdom flags now and the Templars...and the 85% of memories when I fight the bosses.

Assassin's Creed:

So I'm finally trying to stick to a gameplan that I need to do. I'm trying to play this game and just not wander off by playing other games. I have Mass Effect to beat, Call of Duty 2, 3 and 4. The rest of my collection including Halo 3 and even Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Haven't been to happy with myself lately, I need to enjoy my games. That's all I have for now, until next year right?

Image Tab:

This is a pretty cool new feature. If I'm paying thirty bucks for Gamespot a year, why not give us more options to "spice" up our pages like this! Although, it isn't a MySpace either right? Either way I can post alot of my favorite stuff like games/movies/etc. I'll browse through my friends pics as well.

Racism on Gamespot:

I was reading up on the "Ghost Recon:2" debate that was posted days ago, man...if you ever get enough time to read some ignorant posts, go there. Racism at its peak! I tracked alot of people there who had great posts, and ignored many others who had nothing but trash to talk. Just a thought...

The all sufficiency of Christ:

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, He which is and which was and which is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:8

It is hardly needful to explain that these are the first and last letters in the Greek alphabet. They represent all the intervening letters which they enclose as in a golden clasp. This majestic announcement refers to the Eternal God.

His Nature underlies the whole created Universe, all races of being, the entire work of redemption, the destiny of His children, and the ultimate victory of righteousness and peace. "Of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things, to Whom be glory for ever and ever."

Let us, for a moment, join with the ceaseless chant of Heaven, saying: "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, which is and which was and which is to come." We must never rush into His presence without due preparation and reverence of heart.

Jesus Christ is the Complement of our Need.

From the alphabet of His Being we may obtain all the letters and words which will make good our own deficiencies. It is a question whether some of us would ever have learnt the fullness of Jesus, if we had not been brought face to face with the infinite needs of our own nature and condition.

You may engage your guide in an Alpine village, but you only realise all the qualities that lie hidden within him when you have crossed the glaciers, bridged the yawning chasms, and escaped the descending avalanche through his knowledge and care. So as we walk with Jesus we find in Him the complement of our need.

Loneliness is an opportunity for Jesus to make Himself known as the Living One (Revelation 1:17). When, like the beloved Apostle on the Lord's Day in his lonely isle, you seem to hear songs and prayers on which you can only join in spirit, turn to the Lord Himself, and reckon on Him to bear you company.

That loneliness constitutes a claim on Him! Call upon His Name out of the lowest dungeon. He will not hide His ear at thy breathing or thy cry. He will draw near in the day when thou callest upon Him, and will say, Fear not! He will plead the causes of thy soul; He will redeem thy life.

The site of Polycarp's death is still visible above the Smyrna coast-line and harbour; but Jesus stood there with him, enabling him to be faithful unto death, and encircling his brow with the Crown of Life. Be thou faithful unto death; the First and the Last is with thee! "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me!"

Be Thou, O Lord, the Alpha and the Omega of every year, month, day, hour, and act of my life. Let all things be begun, continued and ended in Thee. AMEN.

Level 20 still:

I'm still at level 20, after 300+ posts, blogging, tracking and especially downloading videos. Oh well, it's been around 6 months at level 20 it feels like. It's really more like 4 months.

The Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9)

God wants us to know His grace. He wants us to learn about it, and then to experience it at work in our lives. Grace has rightly been described as "unmerited favor."

The acrostic, "God's Riches At Christ's Expense," catches more of its majesty. Grace is God freely providing for us (as we trust in the work of His Son) all that we will ever need, all that we will ever yearn for, all that He has commanded us to walk in and become, realities that we could never produce on our own, could never earn, and could never deserve.

Grace offers what every human desperately needs, but what God alone can provide.

This grace is found only in a person, the Lord Jesus. It is the "grace of our Lord Jesus Christ." Thus, it is accessible only through an ongoing personal relationship with Him.

Grace was made available to us by Jesus' willingness to take our spiritual bankruptcy upon Himself, that we might be able to partake of His spiritual richness. Before coming to earth below, Jesus enjoyed heavenly riches above ("that though He was rich"). He knew the infinitely rich fellowship of the Father and the Spirit. He received the rich worship of angelic beings. He enjoyed the limitless prerogatives of deity.

Then, for our benefit, Jesus voluntarily became poor ("for your sakes He became poor"). He humbled Himself to walk as a man among sinful humanity. He who was adored above became despised below.

He who shined forth in glorious divinity in heaven was clothed in humble humanity on earth. He who created all things was slain by those He created. He who always existed in eternity past died in time. He who was holy took our sin upon Himself.

Through these workings of His grace, all who believed in Him would become spiritually rich ("that you through His poverty might become rich"). Now, we whose "righteousness were as filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6) have become "the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21).

We "who once were not a people . . . are now the people of God" (1 Peter 2:10). Now, we have been "blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3).

Dear Lord, I thank You and praise You for Your great grace toward me. May I increasingly know the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, through a growing relationship with Him. May I become an instrument of Your grace in the lives of others, all for Your glory and honor, in Jesus name, Amen.
