Either keep it as it is, or perhaps make the game less linear (but keep the first-person perspective)

I don't see any liability for Nintendo here. It's not their game, and the developers decide how to implement the control scheme. If retailers don't check who they're selling to, and if parents don't take responsibility or utilise the controls built in to the Wii, then none of that is Nintendo's fault.

Why? F-Zero X and GX were both great games without it.

[QUOTE="IK85"]Around level 600 I found a never-fail technique for beating the computer, and am now at level 2500. So I wouldn't call it strategic heaven, but its obviously not a mindless basher either. JackSherbak

Do you want to let me in on that secret??

Yeah! Reveal your all mighty awesome, computer annihilating, totally devastating, completely *ss r**ing, and overall overkilling, ultra tech!

His secret is he got good at it :-) LOL...... There is a way to beat every player up until you get to you trainner, I just gut punched left and right and it pretty much took every fighter down, I was a bit supprised however this all changes when you meet Matt.. thats when the game turn up the heat.. only good doging will win the day here.

IK 85 misses the point of the thread though, you can alway beat computers its beating other human players, thats is what I am saying, beating another pro (human) requires strategy... mindless punching will alway lose the day...

The technique was very simple. Keep guard up, lean back slightly and weave left and right (not too fast, slowly enough to draw a punch from your opponent) you should dodge it with out any difficulty. Then hit your opponent in the head with left-right 1-2. If you dodge an opponent's hook, counter with a hook of your own (flick the controller towards yourself) - can do up to 50% damage with a single hit.

I take your point about computer vs human opponent, the two are completely different, and the human opponent is always more satisfying.
