I'd say Advance Wars is pretty rare, as you can never find it at any retail store.

Don't buy DS games just because they are rare(?). First of all, there is no way to know for sure if they are really rare or not. And second, I can assure you that even so called "rare" DS games will not sell for whole a lot. Third, game collecting is really a serious waste of money and I recommend a different hobby. Lol, how is it any worse than collecting stamps? People have what they like, you cant tell someone they shouldn't like something because YOU don't think it's worth it. Some people collect vinyl records, some collect figures, cars, it's what they like to do, you do not now how much pleasure THEYget out of doing these things. Leave them alone.

in my opinion they should stick to remakes. nothing they make now will ever be as good as their old stuff. square soft is dead and square enix blows.... or at least the FF team does without Sakaguchi

People like you are so annoying. The FF games out now do not suck, sure they're not the same, but they're not at all TERRIBLE. Plus looks how Sakaguchi is doing now... Blue Dragon turned out to be a typical RPG with nothing new to offer. Lets just hope his Lost Odyssey or ASH really shines.

If he's going to pick up a new one, you couldn't possibly suggest Ouendan 1 over 2... please no. That's like saying play Jump Superstars over Jump Ultimate...

I haven't played EBA so I couldn't judge, but I hear Ouendan 2 is more difficult and has more modes and such.

Pokemon is WILDLY popular, one of the top selling game franchies, I think it's the second biggest one, next to Nintendo's Marioof course. This popularity has nothing to do with the game's quality, it's not superb, but still people love it and cant get enough yet.

Well, I got the japanese version, Ouendan 2, and I played it non-stop for about a month. I don't play it as much anymore (mostly because I'm busy playing Persona 3, awesome game btw), but I still play it at least once a week. Definately my favorite DS game at the moment.

The concept doesn't sound like much on paper, but when you get to it, you'd be surprised at how fun it is, and how difficult it can get too.
