They charge you for every damn thing. Plus all of their big games go to the PC a year or 2 later and they're cheaper and have more content.

Exactly, leading to poor third party support for the Wii. So really the Wii is worse than the GC.

Think of the best games of all time - Zelda: OOT, Resident Evil 4, Gears of War, SOTC, God of War, Metroid Prime, Super Mario Bros. 3, GTA III... all had 9-10 graphics.

wow. theres games that are popular at the time and theres the best of all time. in 10 years people will probably think nothing of gears because some game will surpass it in gameplayand it didnt revolutionize games at all. now i dont know much about pre n64 times or much anout ps1 but to me, the greatest game of all time is one that is mentioned a lot 10 years after it was released. like mario 64 and zelda oot. games like that can be considered some of the best f all time.

my favorite game now is gears but its not my all time favorte. cuz n 20 years ill remember playing mario 64 more than i do with gears.

If you got that much money I'd say get a pc with all the accespries, hook it up so the tv becomes its monitor and then use a 360 or ps3 controller to play games on it. Then you can play gears of war and stuff in a year or two and you can get a os3 when its cheaper(try craigslist if its in europe) and yeah.....
