i actually used an MS 'sku shift' as an example to prove the opposite of what you're saying. not sure it got through to anyone or not. i think the main point is that it isn't a 'pure' price cut, the 60 gig is cheaper -- but the entry point to the world of PS3 has not changed.

I am going to disagree with that. The 20 gig PS3 was never the main model and Sony only manufactured them as 20% of the total units made. Many stores never even carried the 20 gig. I personally have never seen it nor do I know anyone who bought it.

Now, the 60 gig is cheaper and it is still the main unit for the time being. That means, relatively speaking, the entry point HAS changed for those %80 of people looking for a cheaper PS3 but were unwilling or unable to buy/find the 20 gig version.Your arguement would only apply the those original %20 of customers who bought/found the 20 gig model and felt that was enough.

welcome to today where Sony has announced that the 60gig is going the way of the 20gig, where the 'price drop' lasts until July. my argument is perfectly fine seeing i live and argue in the present, and not the past where the 20gig was still for sale.

Of course I already know the answer to this because xbox360 owners shut the F*** up when they lowered the price for the ps3. Now after E3 everyone knows we have all the games for the fall and even though they have Halo 3....big woop who gives a $*** because it doesn't even compare to Killzone 2.

Lets see your saying that Halo 3 doesn't even compare to KZ2, even though Halo 1 and 2 were amazing and had the best console FPS online and the first KZ was below average FPS, KZ2 is coming out in TBA 2008 also, FPS with a PS control is horrible,and all you are counting on are the graphics of the game?

All those games you mentioned were already announced before E3 and we have had footage of them except KZ2. I still think R&C is a bad platformer. Super Mario Galaxy/Little Big Planet/Banjo Kazooie>>>>>> R&C in my opinion.

Exactly I said opinion so why the hell are you complaining about my post? We've seen footage Mario Galaxy and Little Big Planet and I think it looks more fun than R&C. As for BK the first and second in my opinion were far superior than any R&C game.

Sony announced rumble, when? and how is the rumble better? $500 back to where the PS3 was at start and still $100 more than the 360 which has a much larger selection of games, sales of the PS3 only went up on amazon one day and went off the top 25 chart the next day ,KZ2 comes out in 2008 and the first one was mediocre, and sales of games and Wiis tend to disagree that ppl are mad at nintendo.
