Hey guys,
I'm wondering which system my friend should purchase, it's not a top of the line system but he just wants to play todays modern games without upgrading for few years.

He can only purchase in-store at BestBuy or FutureShop, thanks.
I would but he lives on the westside of Canada, i'm all the way to the east. He may come down this summer but he wants to pick up a new computer in a few days. Also he isn't tech savvy so he really doesn't want to upgrade the computer. I told him in about 2-3 years you'll want to replace the card but that's about it.if you're able to build computers why not just build one for him, it will be a good experience and you will get a better computer and save some money out of it

It comes with a system for 800 bucks,

ATI Radeon HD 6770
1TB storage capacity 7200RPM
Built-in Wi-Fi
Pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit HDMI, DVI, FireWire, USB 2.0 and memory card connectivity options
Hey,
I checked out the sticky though can't find theATI Radeon HD 6770 in the list. How well can this run todays games like L4D2, Civ:V, BFBC2 etc.
Thanks.
Pneumonia, I was 16 and I was sleeping, when about 1am I was awoken and realized I couldn't breath. I bolted out of bed trying to yell but couldn't, I couldn't even make a noise so I began banging and looking for the rest of my family, no one was home. I started to get a little air back in my lungs and drank some water, right about then the family came home. was able to breathe fine again but I kept feeling this pain in the right backside of my back. Parents said i'll be fine it was probably nothing but continued to pressure them to take me to emerge, yet they didn't want to. Finally convinced them about a half hour later, proceeded to the hospital and took some x-rays. Found out it was pneumonia and gave me some antibiotics and sent me home after they monitored me for a bit. Docters questioned why I didn't go in sooner, it would have been too late they said. I knew something wasn't right..
That was probably the scariest thing that's happened to me. I got the same sickness again 2 years later but wasn't as bad as that, i'm 23 now and haven't had anything like that since.
As interesting as it is, i've always been on the fence about this. Though I do think there will be "something" that happens.
