I use 3 USB Ports, Controller Charger, Keyboard and My PS3 Stand (for the blue lights around the stand). I also use two Memory Slots often for my PSP and Digital Camera.

They are nice to have.

how did sony copy nintendos way of putting in disk? Sony had their exterior model and plans for putting the disk in like that WAY before the Wii was even revealed like back in e3 2005 where there were pics of a ps3 but no pics of a wii. Sony may have got the idea of adding a market place from the 360 but so did nintendo.... so lets just go right ahead and blame sony.... and ofcourse Microsoft was the first electronic to have a home/interactive button. If anything sony had the button first because the psp had it before the 360 and the ps3's middle button is practically the same as the psp's home button.

I went with the GeForce 8600GT 256mb Ram, he's not a gamer so he will make use of this card for Media. Note that it's for my friend, not myself.

I appreciate all the help you have given me, I got the card for about 120 bucks, $100 if I send in mail in rebate CAD.

I may go with 2600 xt or the one I previous said. He's not going to be using it for "just gaming", he just needs it for vista and possibly a few games.

He wants to pay 150 CAD bucks max with shipping in there too, he really doesn't want to head into the 200's.

if not i'll just tell him to get a 256mb card even though he has his eyes set on the 512s.
