Sup,

Alright, i'm looking for the best $200 processor. I've been watching the Q6600 for a while now, but some benchmarks show that it isnt as good as other core 2 duos (such as E8400?) in gaming performance, so idk if i should go for the core 2 duo or get the Q6600 which might be more future proof. What do you guys suggest?

Also, i dont want to jump the gun so i'm not sure if i should get the HD4850 now. I heard price drops are on the way and im not sure if there any other cards coming out in the $200 range. Should i wait for an upcoming card, get a different different card, or wait for the price drop?

And one more question, will these coolers: either one of these two for the video card VF1000 , VF700 and this one for the cpu ACF7 fit on this motherboard?
Do you guys suggest any other coolers for the GPU or the CPU or are these fine?
Also, can someone suggest me coolers for the northbridge/southbridge on the mobo?

Thanks again guys

I'd say the best and simplest solution would be to create an account that registers your CD-Key straight from the game.
This is how the process would go:

-Install game without CD-Key prompt
-Run game
-The first window in-game before you can do absolutely anything else would be to put in your cd-key, which is sent to a server for authentication, and create an account linked to that CD-Key to play.
-Play.

This way, you can't skip the cd-key process because it is integrated within the game and every CD-Key will have to be registered and checked for validity to play. Pirates are already struggling with games to play on multiplayer since they can't get a valid CD-Key, so they just download it for the SP and for cracked servers. There are very few games that have available legit/cracked CD-Keys and without one, you wouldn't be able to play a game with this method.

I don't see how this could be bypassed.

Easily cracked.. And it is pretty much the same thing that valve games do.. Only it validates through steam unstead of in-game.

easily cracked? How so? Unless pirates cut out that part of the game, which would be like cutting out the menu... then there is no way you can bypass this. Even if they manage to rip the game from install, which is what they do with steam so it deosnt have to be registered, when you run the game you still need to register it from the menu to play anything.

Be a little more elaborate if you think other wise.

these are all fairly mainstream mmos. There are some really good "underground" (if you want to call it that) MMOs out there.
I'd say Risk Your Life 2 is the best (RYL2 is the free one, RYL isnt); it has really good PVP and it's just fun to play. Priston Tale is a very fun MMO that isn't complicated at all. Find some private servers for LineAge 2. I've heard Silk Road is good but i dont play it, check out ROSE Online, check out Gate To Heaven. Oh and Cabal beta just came out here in the US from Asia; there are some INSANE skills in this game. I think there are a couple more that i cant remember but it's been years since my MMO obsession.

goodluck

[QUOTE="Otchron69"]

[QUOTE="teebeenz"]Mythos, Dungeon Runners and GWs are not MMOs.teebeenz

May I ask what is an MMO, if these games aren't?

An MMO is a persistent world where you can interact with the whole population, the games mentioned above are all instanced based revolving around small teams going it alone in their own separate world.

GW is actually an MMO but it is strangely designed. Like you cant talk in the battlefield (wtf) and you can only get a party in the city. That's the only thing that sux about it to me, and i just got it recently. But the game over all seems to be good.

A new MMO just came out in BETA here in the US. It's been out in asia for a while now and it's quite a hit. The skills in later level are absolutely amazing and like no other. Youtube it:

Cabal

Another old favorite of mine is PristonTale. It is a great mmo that is very easy to understand and get going. It's more about fighting and partying than quests.

Then you have my all-time favorite RYL. RYL1 is my favorite but it has a monthly fee. RYL2 is free and great. PvP is great and the combat is amazing and it has quite a few skills.

If you want to take the private server way, i suggest you take a look at Lineage and Rose Online (arua ROSE is best for private server...)

Hope the post has helped you and others :)

I heard a rumor that it was Cthulu.staindcoldlp

Exactly. If you do a little google search, you will find support of it being cthulu.

And also, it's already been said that there will be "intimate contact" with the monster by the end of the movie. (source)

First of all that PSU is garbage.Get a corsair HX620W if you want to go SLI with the 8800GT.If you dont want to SLI then atleast get a corsair VX450W.Do not buy a cheap PSU.If you are running vista then get 2GB of Ram.And well you should be running vista with that PC anyways. So go with 2GB of ram.1GB will be very bad with vista.

Make those changes which i suggested and you have a fantastic PC.:)

Thinker_145

dang, that PSU is $170. That's a bit too much. Are you sure my PSU won't cut it? It has a rating of five and i'm sure 550w can run an SLi set up. What makes this psu "bad"?

Thx for the suggestions so far
