Obsidian's Josh Sawyer (the Project Director for Fallout: New Vegas) has been answering a selection of fan questions about the forthcoming title over at the Bethesda forums.
Details are brief, but moderately juicy. The game's level cap (a source of some annoyance in pre-DLC Fallout 3) has been confirmed as level 30, and Sawyer explains that a few of the old animations have been freshened up: "We have already changed some of the core combat animations (for example, all first-person firearm aim animations have been revised) as well as creature animations (our "West Coast" Super Mutants have new idles, walk, and run cycles)."
Speaking of Super Mutants, many of the ones we've been seeing in early screenshots are just placeholders. "Our early Super Mutant and Nightkin models were placeholders" says Sawyer, "All of them have been re-textured, slightly remodeled, and re-animated to more closely resemble the Mariposa Super Mutants [as seen in Fallout 1 and 2.]"
Companions will be handled the same as in Fallout 3, with players able to recruit one humanoid and one "non-humanoid" chum. Sawyer is coy about whether this will include Dogmeat, saying only "The Mojave Wasteland is full of dogs. Who knows who will want to be your pal this time around?"
One critter confirmed for the game though, is the Cazador. According to Sawyer, these beasties are "mutated tarantula hawk wasps that have found their way north from the Sonoran Desert. They aren't very durable, but their poison is deadly and they are very creepy looking."
Decide for yourself how creepy they are, by looking at the concept art below.

In a move that will be sure to thrill Yakuza fans outside of Japan, we're pleased to announce that SEGA West will indeed be releasing Yakuza 4 in Spring 2011 on Yakuza's traditional home, the PlayStation 3.
4 is a very powerful number in this particular installment as not only will you experience the gritty atmosphere of Kiryu Kazuma's experiences, three other characters will also be available to play. Each of them with their own engaging backstory and a gripping interwoven plot.
But the good news does not stop with Yakuza 4's release, the man synonymous with the Yakuza series, Producer Toshihiro Nagoshi himself has agreed to allow YOU the opportunity to quiz him on one of Japan's most successful game series. So do you have something you'd like to ask the real boss of the Yakuza series about the history, plot, characters or maybe the inspirations behind the series? Write your question in a comment for this blog (please note – comment will not immediately appear) and who knows your question might be one of those chosen to be answered by Nagoshi-san after E3!
Quick Edit! Hi guys, lots of comments so far – judging from them a fair few regarding the Y3 situation, which is fair enough. Whilst I don't know all the ins and outs of the game at this stage I can at least confirm to you that the much loved Hostesses will return in Yakuza 4 in all their alluring glory. As for Nagoshi-san I'm sure you can come up with some really in-depth questions for him – so come on whats the one thing you've alllllways wanted to know about the world of Yakuza?

Some guy just scanned first info and screenshots from Game Informer's article about inFamous 2.

I loved part one. While there wasn't much to do aside from main story and side missions but that is a lot right there. Plus it had replayability and yeah it could be better but so could every game. I loved the first one it was truly a great game.
Definitely pick this next one up on day 1.
Also let us know when more info comes out.
will do :)[QUOTE="Ice_man_1985"]
It takes place in a new city called New Marais. Its a fictional New Orleans. This isn't a younger cole its simply a re-designed cole with a new voice actor. Cole will be spending the time this game becoming a "super-super hero" in order to be able to beat the beast, he will be ramping up his power from the last game. - From what I see, they have pulled in the camera. - There are real cutscenes and the traditional comic strip narrative. -You wont just jump up buildings but will construct ways to make it up buildings using objects to heighten that sense of exploration. - There should be some new powers outside of electricity but he will still be the electric super hero. - There is melee weapons. - Zeke is more helpful. - More people, cars and things happening in the game. Theo ther info and scans of Preview are coming !

With E3 fever picking up, we're already starting to hear some amazing leaks about new announcements. Here's another one to chew on: A reliable source has indicated that Namco and Capcom are working together on a Tekken vs Street Fighter game. Even better: It could be announced as soon as E3.
This isn't the first time that Namco and Capcom have collaborated. In the past, they worked on Namco X Capcom, which was an action RPG game released on the PS2.
It's only natural that these two powerhouse developers of the best fighting game series are finally making the ultimate fighting game. Both companies in recent years have really gone out of their way to cater to fans of this genre. Namco threw some extra Star Wars characters into Soul Calibur, and Capcom of course has been doing big crossovers for sometime now. They recently announced a new Marvel vs Capcom game in the works as well.
Funny, it was only a couple of weeks ago that we were basking in the awesomeness of Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and speculating on what great VS concept Capcom should tackle next for a fighting game. Ironically enough, our wishlist was half done in jest because our heads would have exploded had any of them came true. I guess I need to prepare for my head to explode now.
We'll follow up with both companies on Monday to see if they have any comments on the game. I'm sure there are a ton of questions gamers are dying to know, with the main one being, "Will the game play more like Tekken or more like Street Fighter?"
