The only metroidvania Death that was kinda hard was the one in DoS. OoE, PoR and SotN shouldn't be on the list.

[QUOTE="Litchie"]What so "very, very good looking" about it? Looks like a regular survival horror game with decent graphics to me.Wintry_Flutist
Yup, but any "hardcore" game is very, very good looking for Wii fans, apparently.

I'll have you know that I own a 360, and would be just as excited if Winter was for 360.

That Grant artwork is so horrible, in an awesome way. Don't ask me how that works...

[QUOTE="jjr10"]Gonintendo confirmed it wasn't winter. I CBF to link, but if you go there and search, you should find it. Anyway, Sadness would be great to hear about, but that's hardly likely. Cursed Mountian more than likely.

Damn. Cursed Mountain is interesting, but from what I've seen so far Winter looks better.

Winter doesn't have anything special going for it. It looks like any other survival horror game out there except with a lot of snow! If this was one of the first survival-horror games to come out on the market then it would really stand out, Nothing I've seen makes "Winter" stand out.Arkk_Angel
What stands out is that it's an old-school survival horror game. Not many of those are made these days... and it has motion control, which seems pretty cool.

No, winter doesn't have a publisher because winter is too late to the party

If winter came out in 1998 it would have been ok.

The same broken horror formula a decade later makes publishers not want to waste their money

Yeah, I guess that's the reason every single publisher they showed it to was very impressed:roll:

All three Castlevania games(Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia), The World Ends With you and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass are must-haves.

Perhaps you remember Winter, the(very, very good looking) survival horror game that never got a publisher. Well, in the back of the latest Nintendo Power was this:

"Don't be left out in the cold. A chilling tale is coming exclusively to Wii, and Nintendo Power will bring you the scoop."

It's possible that this is completely unrelated to Winter, but if it is, color me very excited.

[QUOTE="Icemael"][QUOTE="ChapstheF0rtune"][QUOTE="elbert_b_23"]never had a chance to play ether copy GreggD
You're missing out, dude.

True dat. And I agree about Rondo and Symphony being the peaks of the series - Rondo is the best of the old-schoolvanias, and Symphony is the best castleroid.

I beg to differ. I submit that Dracula's Curse is the best.

How the hell could I forget about Draculas Curse? Hrmm... now I'm not sure which one is the best. GAH!

But I still don't like multi-angle.
