The GOAT just informs you what skills to tag depending on your quiz results. There's really no need. You can skip this quiz test. You can just choose what skills to tag by yourself.
8/10 people that play Mass Effect ALL THE WAY through are likely to enjoy the game, you just proved my point.

I tried...multiple times. I got entirely too bored to continue.

I'll admit there were times I got really frustrated with the game so I would put it down, play a shooter for a while, then come back to it later. Boredom was the problem I had the first time I tried to play the game but I'm really glad I went back and tried again. I'm seriously considering playing through this game a second and maybe third time.

That's what I am doing right now. My first time I used a Soldier class, now I'm playing as a Adept. It's really fun using the biotic powers to kill the enemies.

You can go with the preowned pro, or just get the elite with the 120gb HD.
I really enjoyed the story too, and I didn't have much problems with the Mako, got used to it. CNUrGames

I found way too many planets with side quests on them that had mountains that were incredibly difficult to pass and I thought that was a bit absurd that they didn't make it clear which way to go. Other than that I actually enjoyed the combat because the achievements kept me switching weapons. This is one of those games where playing the story to it's fruition is positive.
I didn't realize you could make Saren commit suicide and that would have made the end of my game MUCH easier instead of having to fight himtwice.
Yeah that's what happen to my playthrough (what you said in your spoiler). Btw, the Mako CAN drive over a mountain, it just takes a while, it can almost drive through any high altitude surface.

I hate online achievements too. I like getting achievements, they give the game replay value and a reason to play them.

For the ally achievement it is best not to do any sidequests until you get Garrus and Tali in your squad, then you start doing all the sidequests, before you get to Virmire you could get the achievement.

I have been playing it alot. The DLC are fun after you finish the main game.
