In Fallout does the "idiot savant" perk or whatever it's called, get affected by current stats, or original stats. So if you drink liquor or take a chem that lowers your intelligence by one, or two, or whatever, is that passive ability affected, therefore increasing the chances for it to get activated giving you an xp boost?

Thank you for your timeeeee. <3

*I'm sure this answer is somewhere, but i didnt want to look it up. Wanted to talk about the possiblities if it does work on current stats.

I have windows 7 ultimate on my PC right now, I want to install again a 'new copy of windows 7 ultimate.

Is there a way, to install a new windows 7 OS to a computer that has the same OS without wiping the hard drives?

If so, how?

If not, can I just disconnect my hard drives that I don't want wiped and reconnect them after Install? I have 4 drives total. The C: drive being the drive that I believe is my boot drive. The others being my separate file drives, for games, pictures, and movies etc.

Any input would help, I searched google, and I found information but not what I wanted.

Thank You For Your Time Fellas.

Games have long been described as addictive by reviewers, as shorthand for describing how pleasurable feedback loops can lead to marathon play sessions. But according to one Russian gamer, in the case of Fallout 4 the addictiveness is very much real. According to an RT report, the (it should be noted, unnamed) man is filing a lawsuit against Bethesda Softworks and localization firm Softklab for failing to warn him that playing it would be dangerous to his health and well-being. The article says the man claims his life fell apart after he installed the game and couldn't tear himself away from it for three whole weeks.

The plaintiff, a 28-year-old from the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, ended up losing his job because he was skipping work to play Fallout. He also stopped hanging out with his friends, and neglected his wife to the point that she left him. Naturally, his health went downhill too, since he wasn't sleeping or eating.

"If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it," he said in a statement. "I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays."

Konstantin Bobrov, the director of the "Single Center for Protection" legal service (bear in mind that's Google translated, so the wording might be a bit off) said that his agency helped the man make the initial claim, and is willing to represent him in court.

"Russia does not like the judicial practice of resolving disputes between ordinary consumers and foreign companies for compensation for moral damage," he told Единый Центр. "However, we do not have to question the legal qualification of our company, and we are ready to see how far we can go in this business. "

Of course, the whole thing is patently ridiculous. I mean, three weeks? I'll probably spend half that much time on the character creation screen. And honestly, if your marriage falls apart after three weeks of a videogame, the videogame isn't your problem. I should also probably point out that this is a hard one to verify, as the only English-language source I've run across is RT, and as we all know, unexpected things can sometimes happen in a Google translation.

The suit seeks 500,000 roubles in compensation; luckily for Bethesda, that works out to about $7000, which means Todd Howard could probably pay this one out with what he finds behind his couch cushions. I've reached out to Bethesda for confirmation that this is a legitimate lawsuit (legitimately filed, anyway), and I'll update in and when I receive a reply. In the meantime, remember:

Try to make this quick, about to start a new game of Fallout 3, to get my juiced up feelings for Fallout 4 a little down.

An opinion and point id like to make is that...

I think Fallouts version of exploration is a more fun exciting experience than No Mans Skys version.

I know there completely different but thats not my point.

I'm comparing the versions of exploration, if thats what your into.

I only know so much about NMS but from what i've seen its very heavy on exploration and not to much more on a scale like Fallout.

With Fallout, its very heavy on exploration and everything else. Roaming is just as satisfying as it would be with any other exploration game, but with the many added bonuses of depth to the world..

Granted we don't know everything about NMS. And there seems to be enemies and at least one weapon.

But overall it doesn't seem as engrossing as Fallout, as far as exploration goes.

Basically if I could only choose one exploration game, I would say Fallout has more fun to be had and more longevity than NMS.

And if thats obvious than NMS did something wrong. Right? (It will be 60 bucks... Wont it.)

Anyways this is just an opinion. Just stoked for Fallout 4... Now im off, I was just born.

Come on 20somethings. It should be ps2 by a mile. Gta 3, Socom 2, Mgs! Are you kidding me. All those games were like OMFG on the ps2 changing lives. Ps3 just amplified it. Or ruined it. (Socom) hahah.

Ps1 was a Godfather. But ps2 brought online gaming (vs ps1) and that right there changed the world of gaming for consoles and us teens. Ps2 And DNAS! Alll DAYYY

Okay, soo, this year might be the year I finally "buy" a ps4, or use my already owned 20th Anniversary Edition. (Yeah i'm a lucky* SOB)

Here is the deal. I am not wealthy by any means, and I'm a true Sony lover.

But i'm a gamer at heart. Gaming PC, 360, Ps3, Super Nintendo and tons of games for all.

Currently been obsessed with League Of Legends, and I kinda want to stop the madness.

So I really don't NEED to play next gen, for a very long time...Technically.

But still, the time will come, and I do not know if I should, or could, plug in an use my PS4 20th... Its just so beautifullll, soo rareeee, an soo awesome. But at the same time, its just a piece of plastic, and an instant way for me to jump into next gen.-But anyone who thinks of anything rare or intriguing for its *makeup* is missing the point. (A flag that was on the moon is just a piece of fabric, but its more than that in its Ora you know. Stands for something)-

So it's been on my mind, and i don't know what I should do.

So i'll ask the true gamers.

Use my PS4 20th Anniversary Edition?

Or

Save it an protect it as if it was any other rare piece, of art, or literature?

(Keep in mind, if I still had this thing 10 years later, I'd probably sell it used or not used. But thats ten years from now, it might have more personal value to me than it does now an maybe I would just want to keep it forever, an if that were the case does that make it more necessary to use?)
