I thought they started sending your own consoles back since they extended the warranty.

Well, w/e I checked the front page of the forum, and at the time I posted it, there were no topics about this in the top ten or whatever.
Hey, just my luck--now every single thread on the front page is about this...

Windows Live Messenger does not work with a child Windoes Live account.  That's fine, I guess, except that Microsoft has it setup so that any account made a child account stays that way permanently;  furthermore, the messenger feature cannot be unlocked in the parental controls by the parent account.  This means that anybody who made his account before he was 18 will never be able to usethe messenger feature of the new update EVER -- for the rest of his life!  I set up my account last year, when I was still 17.  This issue had better be resolved promptly.

My PC came with a Creative Soundcard and also with a bunch of Creative software I had to install on my own.  I use that to convert files.  You might have some uninstalled software like that that came w/ ur PC.  Of course, if you got the music off a CD, then you can just rip it as mp3 files with Windows Media Player.  With WMP open, you have to go to tools>options>rip music (tab) then pick mp3 in the format drop-down menu.  Then put your CD in and click the rip tab in WMP to copy all the files on the CD to mp3 files on your HDD.  I have WMP11, so yours might be a little different if it's older.

A few titles in my wishlist are coming up blank.  The only data present is the number of other users with the same game in their wishlist.  I can't tell what games they are or remember which ones are now missing to figure out which ones they are.  I also cant link to them.  The problem is not solved by transfering the games to another list like the tracked games.  They also don't show up in the main games page.

Great update; I hated the small avatars!
But, I think a 20k limit is a bit too small for 80x80 pixels, especially with GIFs.  You guys should look into increasing the file size limit.

In a way, assuming Nintendo keeps getting to make its own consoles and games, if it continues to operate as if it were its own company still, it might not be so bad. The only real difference would be Nintendo would never have to worry about money. In a way, M$ and Ninty are perfect compliments to eachother. They're like polar opposites. MS could build Nintendo's 3rd-party support and popularity in the US. Nintendo could help MS sell better in Japan and build better 1st/2nd party support. In the US, working together Nintendo could help MS detract from Sony's sales with more Japanese games. In Japan, MS could help Nintendo get some of Sony's sales with more mature oriented games. A buy-out wouldnt necisarilly mean the end of Nintendo as we know it. It could just mean MS funds evrything Nintendo does and gets a cut of profit for consoles/games. Just like GM gets a cut of Chevy's profits. As long as its a partnership like that, it could just be benificial for both companies and hurt Sony.
