Can you imagine how much more you would have raged if you were "caught" each time the ai companions ran out in the open (granted I only noticed jarring times ((like LOL oops Elli just ran into that guy)) like 2 or 3 times) I just don't think there was a realistic way for them to program the companion AI to stay with you and stay avoided. I'd have given a 9.5 because of it... but not a whole 2 points. I really think this is one of the best games EVER made. lol

Also.. I think Tom completely missed the point

Joel was in the right for saving Ellie.. the doctors didn't give her a choice.

BUT he didn't give her a choice either.. and there is his flaw. He didn't want to lose his "little girl" again.

Don't call me a fool. If the install base is large enough. They will optimize for it. Take a look at some Xbox vs Ps2 games from back in the day. (Xbox was capable of more).

You tried to ruin console gaming Microsoft.. I supported you over Sony a little more this gen with multiplats and such.. however this gen.. after that stunt.. My third party support is going straight to Sony. (Multiplats will be better anyway on the PS4... better hardware)
