I enjoyed my time with the Beta even though I'm sure I didn't even scratch the bottom of its potential. Nevertheless, I just can't pay a monthly fee in the long-run. I'll probably make the most out of it for a month or two before waiting for it to go free-to-play.

"i just cant pay a monthly fee".... but you can drop 60 dollars a month on a new game.
people get way too hung up on the reoccurring payment thing.
People mean it in a way that they won't play enough to warrant the $15 a month, not that they can't afford it.
If you play for 4 hours a month you've already gotten more entertainment for your money than going to see a movie at a theater.
Nothing is more disturbing than seeing a "gamer" actually wanting a competitor to the company they fanboy over actually fail. If Sony were to tank I'd go full PC because there's no way in hell I'd let Microsoft take the reins. We saw what they tried to pull last year. This is coming from someone that supports all 3 major hardware companies.
quick edit: No one seems to realize that a new fiscal year is starting NEXT WEEK. Also.. I'd guess Sony's first party studios are wrapping up the major work on their first rounds of games. There really isn't much to look into.
Nothing like getting a next gen system just to play 15 year old games with horrible graphics. Given all the threads and post about graphics, I'd think cows would just say meh to this news but cows being cows, I guess it's sliced bread all over again.
This news doesn't bother me the least bit. I just find it funny that cows will post ALL day long about graphics and next gen but then get so excited about playing games released 15-20 years ago. IF graphics were all that matter (and from the cows post it most certainly is) why get all pumped about playing games on a next gen console that will look like pong compared to current games?
Well obviously... since Sony fans like this cows DONT post "all day long about graphics and next gen".. you are trying to create some sort of argument that makes no sense at all.
Being able to play previous console games has always been a plus.
