This game is absolutely stunning. It's bewildering to me these low scores. I can't get enough of it. Wayyyyyy better then GTA 5 which is now collecting dust.
I'm done with DLC's, season passes, & collectors editions. Finally seeing them for what they are just money sucking garbage. There so many games now that I don't even have time for all of them. I would rather buy a regular game beat it and buy a different one.
"as a journalistic company" - Journalistic companies don't let their personal feelings interfere with their writing. They understand all points and the direction a median was aiming for. Carolyn let her own personal agenda's get in the way of her review. No matter the cost in score Carolyn should never have been selected to do this review if she cannot get passed herself and write an objective review.
I think we are past the point of wanting the gaming culture to be accepted in society. Guess what it already has been, 1 billion in game sales in 3 days can attest to that. Carolyn is no better then the people that attack games based on their emotions not actual facts or statistics. To dock a game points based off of your personal feelings and not looking at the premise of the game is no better then wanting violence in video games banned because YOU FEEL like it negatively impacts people without looking at the data that states otherwise.
IF Carolyn has these feelings and can never get past them to give an unbiased review of the game then WHY on earth did you even let her review the game? It would be like a news reporter slanting the news to meet ones own ideology. This shouldn't happen and it looks bad for you GS for letting it.
