Guys, reading all your comments below, I come to the following conclusion:

Prequels with WHICHEVER character already shown in the ME trilogy will either never happen, or be utterly devoid of meaningful story suspense, due to the fact that all of their histories are explained one way or the other. I love Thane, Javik, Garrus of whoever as much as the next guy, but it will suck terribly to have a spin off. DO NOT ENCOURAGE THESE IDIOTS. thank you.

Just make 'future' shooters with fictional weapons, like Planetside (play planetside! )
