Changes, Finals, no summer?

Reading: Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
Last movie watched: The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Hey guys! It has been a while since I've written a true blog.

My highschool finals (I don't even know if there is an accurate term for that outside of Portugal) will happen on the 21st and 22nd of June, and my math exams will decide if I'm going to enter college or not. Yeah, the pressure is incredible and I have only one more try if I can't have at least a 17 in a scale of 1 to 20.

If you have followed me for the last two years you'll probably know that I always had great interest in the plastic arts. That was supposed to be my major but something happened to me this year and my ambition just droped dead. Although I love to paint and to draw and am one of the best students in my arts cla$$ (modesty aside) the passion I had for the arts completely disappeared in the way that I can't imagine myself working in that field in the future.

So I guess I want to try out management. We have a great management college here in Portugal, it has one of the best courses in Europe in management and I'm pretty excited since everyone says it's incredibly hard and challenging (and I'm a sucker for challenges).

Of course I'll never stop painting - and writing is still my dream and it's my passion since I'm ten years old. But I guess that I'll never feel useful if I take a job related to the arts... specially because Portugal offers very few opportunities and those that can actually making a living of the arts are incredibly talented or are unable to support their family.

Changing the subject, I've been playing Diablo and I've been loving it so far. I've been playing with my brother (he's a monk, I'm a demonhunter) and I love the mass destruction:twisted:

I also can't fail to highlight my hatred for this new comments system. I hate it. I hate it. I HATE IT!

Hugs!

Becoming lamer and lamer...

Reading: Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
Last movie watched: The Great Dictator
Listening to: Dire StraitsPlaying: Skyrim
Mood: Tired

Hello guys! How are you? :)

I don't know why but my blogs keep getting lamer and shorter as months pass by

So, a couple of news:

I'm approaching my finals, which means I'll have to save up Diablo III until 22nd June (it will be impossible, I know!). Although I wanted to, I just can't keep cool with my Geometry and Mathematics exams, they are raising the bar this year in Portugal and finals will get harder.

Second news: my brother got me great headphones from Samson. They weren't too expansive and the sound quality really lives up to the hype. I can finally relax at the sound of great music without feeling my headphones are torturing the song (like what happened to my previous phones that came in my nokia package. Yeah. It was THAT bad.)

I am reading Game of Thrones now. I want to read all of the books before watching the series because I really want to experience all they hype to the fullest. Also, the new season of Spartacus is going to air saturday here in Portugal and I'm really looking forward to it.

Are you all fine? :)

Hugs!

iGod is the best chat bot around

Ok, probably not the best. But definitely the most awesome and funniest. Because say what you say, it's rather fun pretending to have a conversation with God. Actually, my conversations make more sense than Cleverbot ones.

Check it out if you are bored. I know I am

The Nintendo Red Ring of Doom

Reading: Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss
Last movie watched: Wrath of the Titans
Listening to: Awolnation
Playing: Pokemon Diamond
Mood: Normal

Hello my friends!

I bring pictures and good :D and bad :( news!

So, you know XBOX's red ring of doom? Yeah, I got some of that but with my sweet, darling Nintendo DS:

What's the solution, you ask? I had to glue both screens together so I could still play with it. THe problem is that I can't close it anymore and since I travel a lot between normal house and weekend house it's kinda awkward to bring my Nintendo in my hand because it simply doesn't fit anywhere.

This saturday I spotted this cool dragon cloud (the head is on the left and the wings dash on top, and the tail goes right, etc)

I leave you with a picture of me, being all nerdy and reading an almost 1000 page book on a wonderful spring morning:

How have you been doing? I missed you this week. I will look into your blogs if I have the time but now I must begin my quest to study for my exams. The next two months will be hard to endure. Must keep the faith!:x

Internetless for a while

Reading: Vanity Fair
Last movie watched: Hunger Games
Listening to: Epica
Playing: Pokemon Emerald/ Pokemon Diamond
Mood: Relaxed

Good day fellow gamespoters

Just wanted to warn that I'll be on my vacation home the following week, which means I won't be able to connect to the internet. So don't worry if I suddenly stop answering your PM's and commenting your blogs. I'll be sure to check them out when I arrive :)

So, after all the hype I happened to watch the Hunger Games last wednesday... It was cool, I was hoping it to be much more twilight-esc... Also, after seeing Twilight, I happen to think that almost every movie is a oscar-worth movie. Admit it: Twilight is a terrible, terrible movie, with a terrible, terrible plot-line. Just saying.

I have to order the books from Amazon since I haven't got the chance to read them (Also, I can only form an opinion about a story after I've read the books... Movies don't count).

As you can see in my status above, I've been in a pokemon nostalgy mood. My boyfriend sacrificed his pokemon emerald and diamond after seeing me in such a nostalgic state (it's so good to have a boyfriend that loves the same kind of games that you love).

I'll see you around then ;) Have a wonderful week, enjoy it to the max, go outside, get some fresh air and then go back home to your gaming goodness!

Hugs!
