I am interested. Now if they price it around the $2000 range or less, I am sold. Need something to replace my 55 inch 1080p Plasma for my primary gaming TV, and this would be perfect. I don't care about TV features in a TV. I care about what TV is best for gaming when buying a TV: PC, console, retro, etc.
well 3 years later, IT'S ABOUT TIME THIS GETS FIXED!!!
I got rid of my Xbox One cause of these types of issues. This may get me to buy an X, if they truly fix this. Add Halo Wars DE cross play, and I am 100% sold.
@Mirimon78: Ok, perhaps you would like to provide some evidence that they are not making enough money to justify the development of backwards compatibility. Because there are plenty of articles available showing huge spikes in digital sales when games do become compatible, to the point where fat Rich's youtube channel at Reviewtechusa, who was trashing backwards compatibility, released a vid recently saying he was wrong.
Sony is just using that stat as a cop out to not develop it.
Lets say that backwards compatibility usage is at an all time low. That isn't the number that Microsoft cares about. What they care about is how much more digital content is purchased because of backwards compatibility (and even some physical content rebranded as Xbox One compatible). And ever since they launched backwards compatibility, they have been making a KILLING off it.
If this is true, then this MCU phenomenon is simply turning into a bubble that will burst soon, and people will stop watching a lot of this material. No reason why they can't have a simple cameo or mention of any key moments in a way that makes sense. Regular comics do this all the time, and it is what the audience wants and expects.
How many times have they toned down shotguns already? And after the first time, it was too much. It's a freaking shotgun. Same reason why it sucked in Halo 2 vs the other Halos. Glad I don't play this crappy game anymore.
