I found the game to be very polished port but the PshyX can be very demanding on some systems.

I guarantee major percent of the people voting for Zynga don't even have clue what this is bout and who the other Developer's are in any shape or form.

I had that happen me in SP think maybe my save got corrupted or something so just started new game and everything fixed up. Yeah with the MP that happens me sometimes think just drop from the EA server and just crash to desktop maybe bug or something they need to fix.

Well good luck but if that doesn't work open Steam Support ticket and go into high detail the problem that your having with the game and wait bout week for reply ={. I would refrain from playing the Single player portion of the game cause that might warrent you a refund but best of luck later.

Well from looking at the COD4 release news on steam page it would appear that it is running the most current update. hmm try right clicking on COD4 in Steam and goto Properties / Local Files / Verify Integrity of Game cache.
