@mr_azim: What game was you playing, because I had a horrible experience with everything you said lol. And no I'm not being a hater I'm speaking the truth.
@bigrob007: Guy! I was just using that as an example, but still even though that's just a small portion bought out they still make alot of funds with just that and straight screwing over the fan base. Never mind dude you see things in another way which I do understand but isn't relevant. I'm speaking facts here, whats really going on in the game industry today, but what ever just gonna move on from this topic no point on wasting my time here.
@bigrob007: Ok.... I'm not overestimating anything the only major impact I see would be the fan base that would be effected since the game dev's projects can be bought out with a substantial amount of money that would have been accumulated even if they went the normal route of providing on multiple platforms. For example when Rockstar sold GTA IV DLC's to MS they made millions. If your so certain on what your saying then where are you getting your statistics then?
@kee1haul: So much money spent in one year, i remember I was rich once. Wonder how many GS haters gonna respond to this one even though sometimes you have to be sarcastic on here to acknowledge the craziness.
@bigrob007: Dude not every dev company that makes a exclusive is being published by the game consoles company. Some of them don't owe MS or Sony anything, they are usually bought out with a large amount of money, and sometimes it works in both favors if the terms are agreeable. Not everyone is as rich as everyone else and personally I only stick to two platforms now since there isn't really anything going on with next gen to catch my eye. So to them I would think to come up with any scheme possible that can help them win market wise in their favor.
