I know it says you can use a credit card, but I was wondering if anyone knows if I can use my Visa Debit? I currently have 640 points and want to buy Perfect Dark XBLA for 800points this week, and I sure as hell don't want to go buy a 1600point $20 card when all I want is 160points so I can buy the HD remake of the greatest FPS of all time, so I plan on buying the fewest amount of points over Live which is 500. I'm not going to be able to try using my Debit over Live until tomorrow to see it if works, I'm wondering if anyone knows beforehand if I'm able to purchase it at all or if it's strictly credit cards only.

The new Castlevania game coming out on 360/PS3 looks amazing. I've only played the snes version (i think it was Castlevania 4) and never really had any interest in playing any of the 100+ sequels they've spewed out over the years, but the new third person perspective/overall gameplay seems really impressive and will likely get a lot of hype around release time.

[QUOTE="chaoscougar1"][QUOTE="JJnyg24"]Battlefield: Bad Company for 360 was released in 2008 and currently has about 1 million copies sold, Modern Warfare 2 for 360 has been out for about 2 months and has over 9 million copies sold. I'm pretty sure Bad Company 2 will sell much better than BC1, but it's not even going to put a dent into MW2. I personally prefer the open-ended style of play Battlefield offers, but I got MW2 for free with a gift card(no way in hell I would waste my own money on it) and BC2 seems like a really enjoyable game, but in response to the thread topic.....NO!luke89330
lol you do realise there were battlefield games before bad company? BF 1942, BF2 (PC version) and BF 1943. Id say the fan base is pretty substantial, i dont think its as well known amoung the kiddies though, which is a very good thing

^This You are absolutely correct, kiddies don't know Battlefield because the series was popular way back then before the first gen of Xbox came out. Therefore, the Battlefield series started with only PC gaming. There are many fans of Battlefield, but you don't see them because 1. They are not kids 2. Most of them are on PC. Modern Combat is the port to console, and it wasnt that good, so BC1 is actually the first one that was made equally to the console as to PC. BC2 is the second. I'm not a CoD nor a BF fan, but I sold MW2, and I'm gonna pre-order BC2 right after my classes. Btw cougar, u forgot 2142...

I used to play Battlefield:1942 pc about 7 years ago(it was actually released a year after the first-gen Xbox) and I'm quite familiar with the series. Battlefield definitely has a strong following on the pc but it only has a fraction of the sales/community that the Call of Duty series has, so theres no possible way Bad Company 2 will "kill/triumph over MW2"(maybe in the minds of some fans it will....but thats being delusional). I prefer the open ended style of play that Battlefield offers, but every Battlefield game for consoles that have been released in stores wound up selling poorly, although Bad Company 2 will likely sell better than previous Battlefield games on consoles... it won't scratch the surface of what MW2 has accomplished. I don't prefer either series over the other and BF:BC2 might end up being a more enjoyable gaming experience than MW2, but theres no way in hell it's going to overtake the juggernaut of MW2.

Call Of Duty = GTA Battlefield = Saints Row As far blockbuster selling games that are incredibly solid and have a mega-huge fanbase, Grand Theft Auto and Call Of Duty will always reign supreme in gameplay/sales... Battlefield and Saints Row are games that offer an alternative experience from the hugely popular games but arent necessarily better all-around games and will only have a fraction of the sales/popularity that the big boys have

The only thing that kept TF2 interesting on the 360 for the past year(s) were modded servers.... since Valve only focuses on updating their cash cow games, I've pretty much lost all hope of seeing any TF2 updates for us poor Microsoft Xbox 360 users. The best thing Valve could do is release a standalone TF2 multiplayer game on XBLA for 1200 points that includes every single update/weapons/maps/etc. because this would bring the most exposure to gamers who arent familiar with the greatness of TF2 and would greatly expand the community/longevity of the game in general. I would easily pay $15-20 for TF2 on XBLA with all of the updates, and could careless if the people who own The Orange Box feel shafted they have to pay for a separate game(unless Valve figured a way out to intergrate Orange Box users to play on the same servers as TF2 XBLA users)

When I first heard of Valve's concept of L4D back in 2007, it sounded like it could be the greatest refreshing gameplay experience in recent memory by having intense survival-horror coop play spanning vastly large unique maps with an A.I director that gives you a new experience everytime you play. I read several interviews in the year leading up to release with Valve going into great detail about Versus mode with teams of human controlled boss infected and survivors going against each other..... which got me incredibly hyped up beyond belief. Then it came out in 2008 and was an incredibly enjoyable game I played for a full year.... but it left much to be desired and fell short of the initial "vision" Valve described the gameplay experience to be. Now its obviously 2009, and L4D2 is that incredible gameplay experience that Valve promised to make several years ago when they first created the concept of this series. I pretty much consider the original L4D as a beta version to get feedback from gamers... and L4D2 is the finished product

Why a wifi component isnt already built into the console in the first place is beyond me(other than milking consumers wallets for a ridiculous accessory). This is MICROSOFT, they couldve at least added built-in wifi to the 360 elite easily...... or all of their consoles really

I thought this game was dead by now for the 360. You must have been playing on a modded server, thats the only explanation I can think of. Valve pretty much abandoned this game completely on the console versions and is solely fixated on their cash cow L4D series.
