I don't have any platinums, but DiRT 2 and Burnout Paradise seem easy. For both of them you can get it by just playing the game and doing a bit of online.

I was recently looking for a new TV. I looked at the 3d Tvs. I think I saw a Samsung, Panasonic and a Sony. The sony was by far the best 3D quality of the 3. The salesman showed me a trailer of Wipeout 3D, Super Stardust 3D and Motorstorm Pacific Rift 3D. Motorstorm looked good, but not nearly as good as Wipeout and Stardust. They where really well done. The 3D was very good. However, the only games i've heard of that are coming out with 3D are Killzone 3 and Motorstorm Apocalypse, next year. So I would recommend to get a 3D TV later next year when more games are in 3D.

I think Sony can do really well with 3D gaming and the PS Move, together.

I play NHL 10 and DiRT 2 alot. I think I played Just Cause 2 for 12 hours on the day I bought it.

what are some good story games? I have Uncharted 1 & 2, Transformers WFC, Bad Company 1, Killzone 2, Just Cause 2.

I am thinking maybe Batman AA or Infamous? This would just be a rental, till Madden 11 comes out.

and for the reason previously stated, I try to get as many games as I can from the US just because of the french thing in Canada

the headset posted is good. I used it with my PS2, then got the PS Bluetooth headset for my PS3.

As for games, I would recommend Killzone 2. I would say Motorstorm Pacific Rift, but you are already getting a racing game so go with KZ2. Another good one is LittleBigPlanet.

Split second is another great racing game, and it also offers pure for free. by that being said you cant go wrong with either choice ;)

I've heard split/second is good, for a few days. Then it gets really boring. I havn't played it, but thats what my friends have told me, and thats why i've stayed away from it.

Is the first bad company 1 still active?
