@Jyakotu Every Grand Theft Auto game is on sale right now on Steam for a total of only $25 and that's the entire collection, including the original, which I'm sure your PC can play. If you only want Grand Theft Auto IV then you can get it for only $10. Buy them now!
This sounds like a great opportunity to have co-op in a GTA game. Imagine how awesome it would be to wreak havoc on San Andreas with you driving and your buddy doing the shooting or vice versa!
@darkeyez81 Judging by all of the money donated to fund the Ouya on kickstarter it MIGHT just be the winner of the next console race. Personally, I'm not going to buy an Ouya until they release some really great exclusives (but they have tons of developers backing it) for it and the same goes for the Wii U. It's the ONLY reason to buy a console when you get better controls and better graphics on the PC.
@saleama @RockySquirrel Yeah, I like to play my Android games on the toilet, but that feature alone isn't enough to sell me a Wii U. I need some really great exclusive games for it. Bring us a true sequel to Star Fox 64! Now that Lucasarts has been shut down by the evil Disney corporation it's our only hope for a fun space dog fighting game, because it looks like we'll never get a new X-Wing vs Tie Fighter or Rogue Squadron game again.
Well, part of the reason why some people think it's just a peripheral is because they called it Wii U, instead of giving it an original name, like it's previous consoles (i.e. Gamecube). They even would have been better off calling it Super Wii or Wii 2. Another reason is that the console itself looks very similar to the Wii, but you gotta give Nintendo props for making it backwards compatible, otherwise there wouldn't be any games to play on it.
@Poodger @KBFloYd Yeah, they need to come out with another Star Fox game like the N64 version... but better. If they did then it alone might be reason enough for me to buy a Wii U. Star Fox 64 was awesome and one of my favorite games back in the day. Same goes for Star Wars Rogue Squadron.
@AceJakk @JLCrogue @reanor2 Actually you can get a good 500 GB hard drive off Newegg for $60 and it would cost Sony even less, because they're a big corporation and they would buy them in bulk. Also, we can expect them to take a loss on the hardware at the beginning of this generation like they did in the last one and hopefully they'll recoup their losses when the cost of the hardware goes down and off of the sales of software and controllers (because controllers are overpriced). Sony can't make the same mistake and sell the PS4 for the same price as the PS3 when it launched, that's one of the reasons they're going with a CPU with x86 architecture instead of the expensive cell processor.
Yes, Microsoft will give us a taste of the future! When the apocalypse has had an apocalypse! When big corporations (and government) monitor us with their always online TV brainwash devices and always watching us through their Kinect cameras! You better not piss off Bill Gates or he'll post that video of you fapping it on the couch!
I can't wait until E3 when they finally give us the details. What's the release date? How much is going to cost? How big will the hard drive(s) be? What are all the launch titles going to be? How much will it cost to stream PS3 games? Which PS3 games are we going to be able to stream? Etc, etc, etc...
