@RavageCobra @JLCrogue @DarkSaber2k I thought it was very funny and had some great characters, it continued the story from the original borderlands, whose story was also pretty good. Maybe I just play so many FPS games that I'm used to getting not much story and a lot more action, but I like it that way.

@DarkSaber2k @JLCrogue Well, I liked how the story played out and I liked how the main character evolved (character development) from a scared, spoiled rich kid into a cutthroat badass out for vengeance. I also liked how crazy Vaas was. Many of the cut scenes were really good.

You can still have a great story in a first person shooter, just look at games like Half Life 2, Far Cry 3, Fallout New Vegas, Borderlands 2, etc., many of which are also role playing games or have rpg elements. It is ironic that a developer for a very violent video game is saying that video games are too violent.

@Double-Ego @JLCrogue @Arab_Spring Yes, Elder Scrolls VI (or VII) will be playable with the Oculus Rift. That sort of thing will be available long before either of us are old men. I'd imagine that we'd be around the age of 30 by the time VR becomes mainstream or at least more readily available.

@Arab_Spring You're never too old to play video games. If old people can still be interested in sports then you can certainly still be interested in video games, especially when there are so many whose target audience are adults.

BTW, I'm 25 and I'll be playing video games until I die.

@pelvist Absolutely! I prefer using an Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU in my gaming computer, but I also recognize that we need other companies, like AMD, to prevent a monopoly from happening in the CPU or GPU markets. Otherwise I'd end up having to pay a lot of extra money for my computer parts.

I hope they'll have it on Linux too, it looks like a good game to play on Linux.

That automatically makes Oculus VR a much better company than EA (not saying much), since they're offering refunds to those who purchased the Rift over simply not offering Doom 3 BFG Edition on time. EA's SimCity was launched broken and they refused to give anyone a refund for it. In conclusion, EA sucks, boycott them, and instead support companies like Oculus VR.
