Nintendo isn't for releasing half done games. They make games that everyone will remember when they play and that's one reason you will not see Nintendo throwing out games left and right.
The way people need to look at this is just because you don't like the games doesn't mean everyone else agrees. As for them not releasing new Channels is more than likely because they don't want to give it all in one serving.
Maybe they will do something similar to the Mortal Kombat control scheme. As for the game itself, I have my doubts. I was a HUGE SmackDown! fan since the PS1 days, but it seems like the games now are only focused on graphics over gameplay, which isn't the thing they should be doing in my honest opinion.
- Is this the classic everybody says? Yes - it didn't beat Half-Life, Thief and Starcraft for Gamespot's 1998 GOTY for nothing! ;)
- If so, will I enjoy it? (I have FEAR, CIV 4, Suprem comander and outher assorted goodies. never played an adventure 2D game.)
If you're not a fan of the adventure genre, or if the setting doesn't really appeal to you, you may not like it.
The game is very much story-focused - there's no 'action', just dialogue and puzzle solving - but it is definitely one of the best games in its genre. (The first year is a bit boring, but it greatly picks up after that)
- Were can I buy it? (Really old game = not in stores:()
If you live in Europe or Australia, most stores should stock it, as it was re-released in those places a few weeks ago. If not, you might be able to get it very cheaply through Amazon/Ebay - you shouldn't have to pay much more than bargain-bin prices, due to the re-release. Planeforger
