Why can't games like this come out on the big consoles? It makes me tear my hair out that yet another interesting JRPG is portable only. I have never understood the allure of playing an RPG for hours on a tiny screen that you have to look down on instead of a real TV.
@Weasley28 I'm no Playstation fanboy, but I wouldn't be so quick to discount Sony's efforts this generation. (For the record, I own both systems.) Yes, Sony had a rough launch, and the 360 came out first, but the big initial gap Microsoft had has since narrowed, and the future is always changing. Even without all the unsubstantiated rumors about the new X-Box, Sony is in a strong position moving forward, which is all that really matters in the world of business. The game of business never ends, and there are never any true winners; only the companies that survive to the next cycle and the ones that don't.
Why is it that in the video game industry it's considered okay to not give the customer what he wants, but in every other industry it's considered financial suicide?
All of this makes me wonder... How long will Microsoft support the 360 after the transition? I have a lot of games for it, and don't want to see all my gaming money go down the drain.
@MissMorphine @JRLennis All Sony has to do is declare that their system won't require a constant internet connection to play. Then listen to the applause and laugh.
Nothing's official yet, but it looks like Microsoft is making a terminal error with this business model. What must the suits at Sony be thinking right now?
I've gotta say, it's weird to hear a strange voice repeating my own comment from the other day. Still, I love Feedbackula and will eagerly await the next installment.
