I haven't played it yet (downloading update 1.2) but From what i've seen of gameplay and videos, it's a slow and very TEAM oriented game. So going in solo is not a good idea. I don't think you'll get away with rushing in and taking down 3 enemies in the spaces of 3 seconds. You have to check corners, work in tandem, flank by seperating teams, etc(NOTE: this is what I think it MIGHT be like). Also The positive feedback I got from MGO was when they were playing as a team.swamplord666

Yeah, I'm playing TDM right now and out of the ten games i played, this is the only one where the players are acting as a team. Alot of the time you have rouges who run-and-gun but its more exciting and satisfying when you are all in formation and there is heaps of conversation and 'yes sir's.

I have only been playing for a half an hour and it's really fun! I think the two maps are okay, but the gameplay is really exactlywhat I'd expect from Metal Gear Online. There are good customisation options for the weapons and there's just an aura around it that makes the game really addictive. The download and wait wasn't quite worth it but the gameplay is sure to keep you hooked.

out of five stars i give it four..

EDIT: We need better music. It's not 'cool' enough... Not 'metal gear' enough if you get what I'm saying...

I may just be sounding like a Mac fanboy here, but Airport Express. It works on a PC and it is amazing. I'm sitting about five meters away from it and I have great speed. I don't even get lag on my PS3 when playing online.

How annoying. I do hope that Konami will sort this out before Friday.It may not go through though. The notion that they can fix massive server problems in less than a week seems sketchy but I really hope that they do because lets face it, we all really want to play.
