Does anyone know if there's going to be a MH3U bundle for North America that comes with the WiiU Pro Controller, like MH3 did for the Wii with the Classic Controller?

I've been looking online and so far I've only seen bundles for Japan, Europe and Australia.

[QUOTE="J_Ford"]Maybe it couldnt update right away since I had no scores yet. I played it for a couple hours and it always showed your highscore. Youve got some really good scores also, still trying to figure out how you got some of them :PJordanElek
Lots of dancing and always go the harder way when it branches. It also doesn't differentiate between difficulty levels, and you'll get higher scores on Hard since there's more obstacles. I've done about half of the first world on Hard and the first few levels of the second world on Hard.

Gotcha. I need to practice dancing more, I usually end up forgetting to until it's too late and then I'm done the level lol. Haven't tried it on hard yet either but I'll be sure to once I go back through the first world.

People are starved on Nintendo systems for anything JRPG like and that's why the Wii U version while looking and playing like complete crap is getting so much talk.

People WOULD choose a better version if they could, instead they're stuck with a very badly done port of the Wii version.

Jaysonguy

Agreed, the Wii version was watered down, it was technically and advanced demo of the demo that was released at gamestop. But it was far from crap.

Compared to all other MH games, the WiiU version is supposed to have the most content, ever.

And I know you were one of the people who was big on Nintendo going HD, now that they have it what else do you really have to complain about? Have you even tried the demo yet? You can tell there's a noticable difference in how the game looks, MH has never looked so good. And it certainly doesn't play like crap. I've tried out most of the weapon types and there's been some changes with the controls for a few of the weapons. But hunting monsters feels better then ever now.

You should seriously do some research before you decide to post in every MH thread people make here. Actually make some decent points about why you think MH3U is such a terrible game and I'd be more inclined to believe you, as I'm sure everyone else would.

I just think people actually need to play a game before they go and crap on every thread that's involved with it.

[QUOTE="J_Ford"]You have me on your leaderboard now :P I downloaded it last night, its pretty awesome.JordanElek

Yeah, it was weird, I checked the leaderboard first thing last night when I started playing to see if any of my friends had it yet, and there was nobody. Then for some reason I checked again when I was done playing like 20 minutes later and you were there.

If you want to add my wife you could have two people, her NNIDs Guild_Sweetheart :)J_Ford

I will definitely do that. Being first out of three will feel better than first out of two. :P

Sounds good lol, she hasnt tried playing it yet but Im sure she will soon.

Bit.Trip Runner 2 has saved my WiiU from being no more than a YouTube player, at least for a few weeks. It's an awesome game, way more fully featured than the first, and the gameplay feels just right.

The only thing wrong with it is that my friend leaderboard is empty. Somebody join me!

JordanElek

Stairs are the bane of my existence.

Going up stairs is way more intense than it should be. It always feels like you're getting a little bit closer to hitting the edge of the next stair with every jump, so getting to the top of an especially long set of stairs is always a huge relief.

If you had a WiiU we could be friends *bats eyes like a big-eyed pony* and COMPETE TO THE DEATH! I would dance way more if I had more friends on the leaderboard to beat.

You have me on your leaderboard now :P I downloaded it last night, its pretty awesome.

That's why MH3 came with the CCP :P It was meant to be played with it.

I've played with the Wii Remote/Nunchuck on the demo and it was aweful, the game's not playable with that control scheme in my opinion. I don't understand how anyone could get any enjoyment out of playing the game like that. It's like playing SSBB with the Wii Remote, it just doesn't work.

When MH3U comes out, my wife and I will be using the CCP until we can afford to get a WiiU Pro Controller, unless the game comes with one as a bundle like MH3 did.

I wish we knew that last night. We were playing Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed. I was playing as Sonic and after we finished a race he glitched into his boat while still driving on the track and was going faster then everyone in their cars. It was pretty funny

JordanElek

lol, yeah, I was so happy to have that feature when I came across a frozen deer in AC3. I tried a bunch of different poses, including one where the deer's tail was coming straight through Connor's crotch, but I ended up having the deer's head protruding from Connor's stomach. Playing games on the WiiU is at least 10% more fun at all times because you're always looking out for an opportunity to take a stupid picture.

Lol, that sounds awesome.

Yeah it definitely is, I have a feeling I'll be looking for excuses to take pictures from now on :P

I have another quick question about the WiiU.

I've noticed on Miiverse in the communities sometimes people post screen shots. Do you have to use the gamepad's camera to take one or how does that work? My wife and I have been trying to figure it out but.

JordanElek

When you press the home button, it captures whatever is on the screen at the time. So when you post in Miiverse from the Home menu while you're in a game, the option to post a screenshot with your message will be there.

Alright thanks.

I have a question about the WiiU, hopefully someone will be able to answer it.

My wife and I are trying to use the WiiU while one of us watches tv. She's playing Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, and she can navigate through the game menus and stuff but when she's actually racing there's no sound and all she can see is the map on the gamepad. She even has headphones plugged in but there's still no sound and it doesn't say anywhere in the instruction manual about using the WiiU while the tv's on.

Anyone know how to get this to actually work?

Jaysonguy

Run your finger down from the top of the pad's screen to the bottom

Thanks, that's much better.
